The Exchange 16 | Historic Bldg, Studio, Dwntwn

Newly renovated, The Exchange offers comfort and modern amenities surrounded by old world charm. Located in the historic district of this spectacular river town, you can experience and explore the culture and natural playground that is Winona.

The Exchange was built in 1900 as the commodities exchange for ship and rail transport coming along the Mississippi River. Keep an eye out throughout the building for subtle mentions to the past and the stories this unique building holds.

This studio comfortably sleeps 2 people on a king size bed. Spacious open area offers original flooring, high ceilings, large windows with lots of natural light, and tons of character. Our modern kitchen boasts granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Convenient in unit washer and dryer are provided. Bring your pet along for your adventures in Winona. Wifi included. In walking distance to local attractions, coffee shops, restaurants, brewery, bars, movie theater, parks and walking/biking trails, Mississippi River, Winona State University and more!

Work

I stayed here for work. Beautiful building, loved the history. Room was not clean at all when I checked in and the lock for the room is kinda finicky. Loved the proximity to work and the host was responsive to my concerns. Could use curtains that cover the whole window so that the lights outside aren’t shining in. Great place overall tho!

This place was everything we wanted to be, super clean, great space, and in a great location. You can walk to everything you need, our host was fantastic! Answered all of our questions and made sure everything was right when we arrived. We will definitely stay again in the future!

Great place to stay

The Exchange is a really interesting and well thought out repurposing of a historic building. Winona is gorgeous and we will definitely be going back! Hopefully we can find a room at the Exchange for our next visit. Room was exactly as described, very clean and super comfortable bed.
