"I liked the location and the price, the breakfast had a big variety. I didn’t like the beds, very uncomfortable."

"We found the apartment’s lighting was too dark because of dark color of walls and not enough of lighting fixtures. Besides the fixtures are spot lights type so that certain areas were not covered. No headboard lights. The room is quite decent and very clean. Ample space for two people. Location is quite good, closes to the freeway leading to downtown Reykjavik."

"We stayed for one night only. It was close to the main attractions. The biggest issue we had was not being able to get in due to our code not working. We called and it got resolved. There were stains on the couch but aside from that just okay"

"I thought that this hotel was really great! It is a great place to stay if you are visiting Iceland and want to save money by cooking your own food. There is no staff, so if you want your room cleaned often and changed, this isn’t the place for you. The WiFi is absolutely terrible so if that is something you really need I highly suggest not staying here. "So I really wanted to give this place five stars. Its location for the area was ideal, and the private room was excellent. Also, the check in process was perfect; however, the shared bathroom situation was a bit off-putting. Now, I’ve stayed at many locations with shared bathrooms so that wasn’t the issue. "Emails with check in information for all rooms not received and needed to call after arrival to get access codes. Ongoing construction contributed to noise."

"The room was acceptable but no ventilation, little air from the window, no air conditioning. Bed was comfortable. Asked for fan and staff was helpful in getting one the second night- this at least moved the air some- still too hot. Air conditioning in hallway second day but no help for room. Did not use the spa or workout area. Restaurant closed earlier than Google or listed in hotel. Staff was helpful."

"It was a good location but not really walkable to downtown. However there are a few restaurants, coffee houses and grocery stores that are walkable, The bus stop was right there and it was easy to use. Many tours did pickups from there. I felt the hotel provided everything we needed. It was nice to have the breakfast included and options in the evening. The lamb stew was delicious. A lil pricey but in line with Iceland prices. It was very clean and had a wonderful shower."
