"Outstanding - fabulous accommodation all very easily organised and facilitated and the food is phenomenal"

"I paid £55 for family room, apparently other rooms start at £35. I didn’t need the family room but surprisingly it was all that they had left. The Hotel is undergoing some much needed refurbishment, everything about the hotel is dated, and either worn out or broken. The carpets were thread bear in places and had tape over some of the larger holes. The floors were very uneven to walk over. The furniture was very dated. The bedroom door was just a lightweight internal door, and not a fire rated...

"The host was very kind and helpful. The room was small for three people, and hot. It was right on the road so we had to keep the window closed all night. Perhaps an upstairs room would be more comfortable. The stay was certainly fine, but quite simple/basic."

"Wow! The most beautiful nights stay at The Peacock, the scenery, the room, the food, the staff. I didn't want to leave. I LOVED the little touches - the Peacock shortbread, the glass bottles for water/milk, bath salts. I've stopped in a lot of hotels and I have to say this stay beats them all. Perfect! Thanks so much. "The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door"
