Situado en Thorpe, un pueblo encantador en el extremo sur de la zona de Pico Blanco del Parque Nacional Pico, Thorpe Nube Vista casa es un lugar de vacaciones con encanto en el recinto de cuatro acres de, pero distingue de, Thorpe House, un georgiano tarde caliza grado dos en la lista edificio de carácter considerable. The property was beautiful, with everything we needed. And the pool was amazing! We all enjoyed swimming and chilling in the hot tub. We were able to walk straight up Thorpe cloud and into Dove dale, and look forward to being able to visit again to explore further. Many thanks to hosts, Ray and Julie, who were friendly and helpful.

Superb property

great pool and local to most places within max 30mins drive. the pool must be at least 15m long and 6m wide.Bottle of prosecco and tea and coffee and milk and sugar if you didn't bring any.The Cottage and pool very clean and tidy would stay again and recommend to any couples for a quiet getaway and to go around the Peak District.nearest shop 10 mins drive. great Pubs local for meals if you didn't want to cook.Great hosts and it was all ready to move in. with a tour of the property and pool from them.Car Parking plenty space as i got my Bentley in with ease

Cosy cottage and Country Charm

Beautiful elegant cottage, wonderful ambiance and surrounded by incredible scenery. Equipped with everything you could think of and more. Owners super helpful and friendly.Pool a bonus, brilliant to chill after visiting the local beauty spots some of which are practically on the doorstep.The only downside - we only had 3 nights. Hope to visit again at sometime.

A haven in the countryside

We planned a three night stay buy had to cut it short for family reasons.We were delighted with our choice. An old cottage on the outside with modern facilities inside.The welcome pack was much appreciated. The facilities were as described. The pool was great. We booked it really, as a back up for bad weather. The only problem was that the weather was so good we only used it once and it was more like a sauna around the edge but refreshing in the water,We planned to use the pub but never got around to it. Make sure you have your groceries on board if self-catering, though Ashbourne is quite close. ‘We’walked( my wife uses a mobility scooter) to1 Ashbourne and back via the Tissington Trail. It was fine. Very happy with our choice. We have used VRBO for years and have been very happy with the arrangements. Enjoy!

Perfect!!!

I could not recommend this place enough. It’s immaculately clean, has everything you could ever need, is perfectly situated and the views are immense. To add to that, the pool is second to none. Ray and Julie were perfect hosts, giving clear explanations of all the important info. It really is a diamond of a place and I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful break.

Stress free happy days

After a long few months this stay was refreshing in many ways .from the beautiful cottage to the lovely pool,to the stunning gardens,to the really lovely hosts..im disabled and have walking dificultys which i thought may stop me accessing the pool..it didnt due to the thoughtfullness of the hosts having a easy usable hand rail ....and we made the most of the luxury of a private pool thats for sure...(alllllll for us )What made me smile and impressed us both was on the day of leaving Ray asked me if there was anything else he could do to help future guests with access to the pool... we are already planning another stay ...We highly recomend ..

Perfect in Every Way

Beautiful accommodation, clean and comfortable. Great views with the exceptional addition of access to a private swimming pool and jacuzzi. We enjoyed local walks and pub with great food 10 minutes away. Highly recommend, we will return!

Everything you could want

This was our second visit. This is a really well-designed and characterful small cottage with a large (and warm!) private pool a short distance across the garden. There are fabulous views of the lower part of the White Peak area from the cottage, and walks from the door or from Ilam - a couple of miles away. The hosts offer a warm welcome. Another great stay.

We had a long weekend stay in Thorpe view cottage. The cottage is well furnished, clean and cosy. The garden is well maintained with exceptional views. The pool is a great feature, was used every day. Ray and Julie are warm and welcoming hosts. Good location, ideal for walker's and cyclists. We had a hearty meal on two occasions at the Old dog pub, served by friendly landlord and staff.All in all we had agreat stay,will certainly return.

Excellent Christmas Break

This is a beautiful quiet cottage finished to a high standard with everything you need for a chilled relaxing holiday.Communication with Ray and Julie was great and the pool was an amazing addition to the cottage.The location is perfect for walking Dovedale 30 mins, Tissington trail 20 mins and the Old Dog Pub which was very welcoming 10 minutes walk.Cannot fault the whole package and would not hesitate to revisit in the future.

Beyond expectations

We were delighted to be able to stay at Thorpe Cloud View for 3 nights just before Christmas to celebrate my 40th. The cottage itself is spacious and really well equipped for a comfortable stay. We especially liked the Christmas trees and the cosy feel with the fireplace. The pool was simply incredible and equally as well kept and equipped as the cottage. The little touches like plenty of towels were much appreciated! Last but not least the hosts were brilliant. Ray was super friendly and personable. He took the time to make sure we found the right driveway (in the rain!) and helped get us settled so quickly. Many thanks again for opening your home to us. We look forward to returning in 2025 so that we can explore this beautiful part of the country. Best wishes.
