Everything about the hotel was great except for their parking policy. I checked in without a problem then went out to do some work around the city. When I came back there were no car parks. I asked reception where I should park they told me my options were to pay $30 for a carpark or park on the street
I pointed out that the reservation said parking was included and I was told Parking was only included unless there were no parks in which case you then have to pay $30
The receptionist thought it was a good idea to argue with me and tell me that I should just come down from my room every 10 minutes to see if there was a free park so I could move my car
I had driven six hours that day visited multiple customers and just wanted to Get to my room finish my Admin and sleep.
No one ever loses an argument with the Customer. I will never stay here again because of this. A shame really as I think the hotel is amazing but let’s face it you’re not the only Hotel on the block

Thanks for your feedback Stuart, We are grateful to have a popular hotel, dining options, and functions and events. At times that can put pressure on our free parks, meaning folk opt to park on our surrounding streets - gratefully all offering unlimited and free parks. Most of our car parks are free, (including 3 EV parks), and we also have a few paid parks (including 2 EV parks) for those wanting a guaranteed spot.I'm so sorry this was not conveyed appropriately.Be assured how much we appreciate every guest that makes the decision to stay with us!Kind regards,Peter Tennent
