Construction outside door and stinky smoking room I cannot even breath in and the staff won’t upgrade to new room even if I pay difference. Zero compassion for asthma want full payment for a second room I booked a non smoking online. Can’t move rooms and won’t allow upgrade to a king from double queen free or pay and there is availability. 11pm at nite.

Checked in, was given a smoking room ( yes apparently they still exist) moved to a non, went to the onsite restaurant, and their big screen had fallen off the wall and there was no sound for GAME 4 of the Stanley Cup final IN EDMONTON
...oh and the hot tub and sauna were both nfg...so theres that

Smoking room? I didn’t think these even existed anymore. The room smelled terrible and no way to swap to another.

The hotel itself, staff, and room were amazing! The only downfall we had was that the bed was very soft which we aren’t used to but that isn’t a negative for the hotel. The jacuzzi room is fantastic, everything worked great! The shower was huge!! Front desk staff were very understanding and explained everything great! The restaurant staff could work on their customer service a little bit better, our server seemed very annoyed to be working and overall was not very pleasant to deal with. The food was good, nothing too fancy.
I will say that the only thing that caught us off guard was that the cash deposit is $400(for a one night stay) and on credit card it is only $200, so just keep in mind if you don’t have a credit cars(like us) that you’ll be paying a bigger deposit, but you get it back in the morning as long as everything’s good when you leave the room.
