"This B&B was one of the highlights of our trip to Cooperstown. Not only was the historical building gorgeous and beautifully (painstakingly!) restored, but the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was DELICIOUS (thanks, Chef!), the in room amenities were top quality, and the room itself was cozy and quiet. It’s walkable to the Baseball HOF and other Main Street attractions. We cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend! "

"Loved our stay at the Lake Front Hotel. The boat tour on the Glimmerglass Queen is a must. The boat ride dock is right at the motel. Captain Paula does an awesome job. The hotel is walking distance to Baseball Hall of Fame and downtown. This is an older motel that has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are small, as in older motels, but clean. "This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. Thank you!"
