This 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom is large and luxurious and has room for the whole family. A three level house complete with lots of amenities, families will surely create memorable experiences in this home. Sit in the hot tub or enjoy a friendly game of billiards. Surround yourself with spectacular valley views while grilling dinner on the deck. This home has everything to make an outstanding family vacation and not to mention, located only minutes from all Ruidoso has to offer.

Ruidoso is an alpine mountain community. Expect twisty roads with steep grades. The weather is unpredictable and changes quickly. Elevation can vary between 6000’ to almost 12,000’. Most homes are multi-level with stairs on inclined lots. Expect wildlife to hinder traffic flow. Do not be surprised if the power goes out or when you lose internet or cell phone connection. This is the mountains, and it happens. We encourage guests be prepared with access to chains or 4-wheel drive in winter months for all our properties. This is not the big city. Life is easier and slower paced and more wonderful. This is why we come and why we stay. Relax and enjoy your time in paradise.

Went for reunion. Beautiful view. Lots of room. Nice deck. Did not not know of steep driveway and getting up from a certain direction. Upstairs toilet need more cleaning and downstairs lock a bit wobbly.

Unbelievable View

We had a family of 11 with ages ranging 12-72--and we found this rental to work well for us. The view--we all agreed--was spectacular. It was where you'd find each of us watching the sunrise in the mornings, and star gazing in the evenings. The driveway was steep, but our more adventurous drivers took it with ease (at least after the initial drive up). The pool table was used frequently--and enjoyed.

Family Christmas Trip

The house has the most incredible view with a sweet balcony to enjoy , but the driveway was not fun for parking or to go up and down. The house layout was perfect for us, but I would not say this house sleeps 12 as there’s no sofa bed or full bed. There were 4 Kings and 1 Queen that were found in the bedrooms. The futon would possibly sleep a small child. Living room couches were broken and the recliners would not properly recline. Kitchen did not provide enough utensils. We had 7 forks and 6 spoons so had to eat in shifts or quickly wash them for the next person to eat. The house as a whole needs to be restocked with newer necessities and a deep clean for the carpet and bedding if not replaced. We enjoyed the wrap around balcony, view and layout of the house for our big family, but house just needs to be appropriately cleaned, stocked and setup for guests.

Thanksgiving stay

Although the property is beautiful, it is not well kept up. The cabinet doors and doors themselves were coming off the hinges. We found ourselves having to clean the dishes because they were not properly cleaned. The house itself has a lot of details that can easily be fixed with maintenance and upkeep. Several of the items in the home just seem to be falling apart .The view is amazing though.

Cabin was perfect, enough space for 9 adults. View were amazing! The entrance to get to the cabin is a bit steep but it is so worth it!

Overall, cabin is decent. It has a really nice view, we loved the balcony, however, the hill to go up is pretty scary! What we didn’t like was that for the amount we paid to stay, we only had one toilet paper per bathroom for the entire 3 days and even one of the bathrooms didn’t have toilet paper. None of the bathrooms had shampoo either. It was a total of 12 persons who stayed during the weekend so obviously that was not enough so we had to take our own, not a big deal, but I feel if we’re going to pay that much, then we shouldn’t worry about toiletries.

3 Level 5 bedroom with great views.

We enjoyed our 4 nights there. Great location and floorplan for us. There is some deferred maintenance that could be addressed.. new blinds (most were inoperable or a challenge to use), dirty and cracked windows, lights not working, and a general deep cleaning.

Great house

The house was perfect for my family 10 in toral and we all were very comfortable. The views were amazing!! I highly recommend this house. The driveway was pretty steep but otherwise it was perfect.

Nice Weekend getaway

Nice place to stay with a great view. Everyone in our group enjoyed their stay. Loved the hot tub.The patio furniture could use updating, the grill side burner is broken and there was nothing to clean the grill with. Inside my only complaint was the cleanliness of the comforters (dog hair and dried vomit) in the upstairs rooms and the Wifi connection never worked.

Time for owners to refresh property

Overall the property was nice and clean. However, many things were broken including hot tub, pool table leaned, cue sticks had no tips, couch, and table on the back porch was held up by a stick. The game room walls looked dirty and needs a fresh coat of paint. Having a group of teens with us we were all disappointed the heater on the hot tub was broken and the pool table wasn’t usable. This was one of the main reasons we booked this property. Also in the pictures it showed a large futon in the basement. We had hoped to put one of the teens on it. It was not there when we arrived, so we had to get a blow up mattress. If the property is not as advertised the owner should post new pictures or let the renters know before arrival. FYI if you have this property booked this next month they had to order a part for the hot tub, so it won’t be useable for a while.

Beautiful location

This is a great place to get away. Our only difficulty during our stay was snowfall which made the driveway impossible because of the steep slope it has. It was quiet and comfortable other than that.

It’s all about the view

Great Place

This property was so nice and the VIEWS!!! Amazing. Be prepared for the incline into the property. If you are driving a truck and your friends and family drive trucks, be strategic with your parking. We all backed in to keep from having to turn around up in the parking area. Cars will have no problem. We will defiantly be staying here again. LOVED IT!!!

Great place and plenty of room. The road/driveway were steep but we made it work.

The overall cleanliness was good. The rooms were nice and clean. Kitchen/living room area were a bit small for amount of people staying. Enjoyed the views!

Great view but horrible driveway

The views from being so high up are amazing. Some of the windows were extremely dirty to look out of. The driveway to the property was almost straight up my entire family was there and we had 4 vehicles so was extremely hard getting turned around to drive down the steep incline. Had there been any amount of ice or snow getting up the driveway would be impossible. When we arrived the home would not get warm we contacted the emergency number and after about an hour and half of constantly calling we finally reached somebody. They said they would send somebody and after an hour the repair man showed up. The heater went out and he had to replace parts on it. The person who answered tried telling us the heater was not like how it is in Texas and doesn’t work the same which was almost insulting.

Beautiful views, the house needs some help though.

Let me start by saying the views are amazing. The house itself needs some help. Its just poorly managed. I was called earlier in the day and told to stop by and pick up the welcome packet at the office. I did and then was told they couldn’t give it to me until 4 and that I had to come back. They finally gave it to me, but the agency threatened extra charges at every turn. If I went to the house before 4, extra charge, if I used too many towels, extra charge, etc etc. Well we got to the house after four pm and warmed up the oven to make some pizzas. The oven hadn’t been cleaned and there was a thick layer of sludge in the bottom. It smoked the house up for hours. I called the after hours number and told her about it and she informed me to open all the doors and windows, and there was nothing she could do. I asked if there were any box fans and she said she had never visited the property so she didn’t know. This explains why the house looked like it did, no one manages it. The carpets were dirty, couches and furniture were falling apart, there were only three washcloths for the whole house, and every grouping of lights, or fixture with more than one bulb had different color bulbs. Back to the oven situation, we finally cleaned it ourselves. They said they would send someone in the morning, and by noon the next day no one reached out, so I called them to tell them we took care of it ourselves. I also inquired about if we could get some money back for the inconvenience, and have gotten nothing but a run around for two straight weeks. They are quick to say they are going to charge extra for every little thing, but aren’t quick to fix any problems or offer any kind of money back. Paid a cleaning fee, and I’m wondering what that went to.

It was awful! The day before we left Rhonda from Destiny real estate called and said our rental was no longer available "something was broken" , I think they over booked. Anyway we didn't have time to rebook anywhere else so she put us in one of her other "comparable" properties. She sent me pictures and the place looked very nice, That was a joke, it was disgusting very old and worn down. Spiders, No TV, the carpets were dirty, the cookware was old and looked like they were found on the streets . I called her and she was very nice at first she told us just to stay there the night ( it was two late to find 12 people somewhere else to stay) and we would figure it out in the morning. The next morning we decided to book somewhere else I let her know and she said I would get refunded everything back except for one night stay of $100 dollars. We got home a week later and I called her several times No Answer, I left voicemail with no response. Finally I tried a number I had previously spoke to her on to ask about my refund and she was very rude and told me not to call the after hours phone number because it was for her guests. Anyway I got ahold of a Lady named Wilma and she was very nice and helpful. I didn't get a full refund but I got back a good chunk of my money. FYI always read reviews before you book anywhere! That's a mistake I won't make again!
