Tamara was an absolutely amazing host! The property had everything you could ever want or need — she truly thought of every detail. The views were breathtaking, and even when we had a few hiccups during our stay, Tamara was quick to respond and assist right away.There had been some storms in the area that temporarily knocked out the internet for a few hours each day, but Tamara had even thought of that — she provided a great DVD collection as a fun backup option, which we really appreciated.The only issue I personally had was with the sofa — it wasn’t the most comfortable for me due to my age and a recent knee injury. However, a younger couple or a family with small children would likely find it perfectly fine!Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and Tamara’s hospitality made it truly special. Highly recommend!

My husband and very much enjoyed our stay here. We liked the location and you can walk easily to the beach. The unit was clean and had everything we needed and more. It felt very homey and the back deck was wonderful. It had a great view, nicely furnished and blocked the wind so we could really enjoy sitting out there. I would highly recommend staying here.

First impressions

The condo was pretty nice with a ‘beachy’ feel. There were so many provisions like beach chairs, beach towels, canopy, wagon, umbrella, kitchen supplies etc that we actually didn’t need to bring a lot of the things that we packed. The one downfall was our first impression which was that the condo was not cleaned very well when we arrived. There was sand all over the floors and some of the furniture, the bathtubs were dirty, and the balcony was covered in sand and toenail clippings. We spent our first two hours cleaning instead of unpacking and starting to enjoy our vacation. I hope that this was just a one-time oversight . We did enjoy our stay at the condo for the remainder of the week though.

I must say we had a couple of hiccups at the start of our vacation but Tamara was quickly on it and got things fixed right away. She cares about her renters and wants them to be completely happy. She has great communication. The condo was perfect location. Just a short walk over the dune to the beach. Perfect size for our family of four. Good food close by. Go visit the Market deli they have really good sandwiches and coffee and beads has been a long standing favorite. Tamara has really thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.

Tamara is the most generous hostess offering all the comforts of home the minute you walk in. She makes this beach vacation truly the most relaxed, convenient stay in a beautiful location overlooking the ocean and steps from the beach. Everything you need for vacation and more can be found here, whether you are looking for beach gear, relaxing on the patio overlooking the ocean or a short walk to a sunrise on the beach or sunset on the sound this is the location location location with all the conveniences and pampering that a vacation should be. As a family of 6, we found this so comfortable also.

This was our second time staying at this location, and it was delightful. Tamara is an incredibly thoughtful host, and the condo is comfortable and inviting. She has beach chairs, sand toys, skim/boogie boards, and a very nice beach cart. She also offers extra beach towels, and loads of amenities that you won’t find with other hosts. Resort Rodanthe has an elevator, which is so nice compared to just a luggage lift. The condo was beautifully clean and my family and I just love staying there! I have booked elsewhere at the same resort and regretted not booking with Tamara. We look forward to booking for next year ASAP!

Perfect spring break getaway

Our family of 5 stayed here over spring break and it was wonderful. We loved the location and the easy access to the beach. The condo was comfortable and clean and the view from the balcony and was beautiful. The home office was perfect on the day I needed to work. Communication was seamless and the attention to detail was clearly felt. My teenage son said it was a “peak vacation”, which is high praise! We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an OBX vacation.

Rodanthe stay

What a lovely condo and great view of the ocean. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, as we all work so a great vacation. We were able to see the entire island, lighthouses and local cuisine. The only thing is having to leave. Definitely would come back.

Missed opportunity

Owner expressed that there would be reimbursement for the date mixup /change and never received it. The front bedroom closet was stuffed and things fell out when trying to hang clothes. They didn’t fit. The tv, and internet information on the email isn’t correct. The items for the beach either weren’t there or were not in good working condition. Feeling ripped off.

It was perfect!

Condo had all comforts of home. A ocean view balcony that you could spend hours on watching the gorgeous sunsets and beautiful blue ocean. I enjoyed that the condo was only steps from the pool and to the beach. Host has made staying at the condo stress free by providing all the amenities such as a starter papertowels, soaps, Tide pods, towels, bed linens and toilet paper. I would definitely stay again and appreciate all the wonderful hospitality!

Great view, proximity to beach, pool was awesome! The place was more than fully stocked and comfortable. Responsive host. We could have used more hooks for towels and wet stuff but other than that absolutely zero complaints. Would stay here again!

Resort Rodanthe

The property was very nice. It had a good beach access and the views were amazing. My family which included my wife and two kids stayed in unit 11b. The unit was even more amazing than the property itself. The host Tamara had made the condo a nice little home away from home. My wife loved the decor that Tamara had decorated the condo with. In fact my wife was getting ideas on how to decorate our house. The housekeeper, Dana, had the entire condo spotless. I definitely would recommend this property and specifically this condo to anyone wanting to visit the OBX. The host , Tamara literally had everything we needed and then some. My wife and I are already planning on another trip to the OBX and staying at this resort.

Spoiled Rotten in Rodanthe.........

The homeowner has thought of everything you could possibly need to make your vacation stay enjoyable, right down to the toothbrushes and toothpaste! We enjoyed the condo and all the extras that were provided for us. The location is great and the view of the ocean is incredible. There is easy access to the beach via a wooden boardwalk and steps that lead you right onto the beach. From the balcony you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets while sitting on the comfy outdoor furniture, which we thoroughly enjoyed every morning and evening! The Rodanthe pier is within easy walking distance. The beds are super comfortable and all linens are provided. There is a coffee bar which includes everything you need for a great cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. We would definitely recommend this rental!

Perfect getaway

Tamara is a hostess with the mostest. She had everything you can imagine to make our stay easier and help us out with our two littles (from games, kites, stuffies etc). The location was great and we couldn’t have asked for a better get away!

Wonderful!

We spent a relaxing 2 weeks at this lovely property! Beach access was just a short walk. Tamara was a kind and responsive host. Everything was clean, well-organized, and tastefully decorated. The attention to detail (especially in the kitchen) was amazing! We had everything we needed to cook meals. I loved the porch with the comfy outdoor furniture. I was able to work outside on my laptop in the mornings. WiFi worked well - no issues getting work done and streaming movies a couple of rainy evenings. It was a great trip for our family!

Simply Outstanding!

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks, and we couldn't have possibly had a better experience! The condo was everything that we expected from the pictures and descriptions... and more!! Clean, comfortable, spacious, and beyond well-maintained, Tamara has thought of, and anticipated, everything that travelers, (even kids) might need for a stay at the beach. Whether you are in the mood for sun & sand on the beach (literally just a 2 minute walk), a refreshing dip in the private pool, quiet relaxation on the shaded deck, or just some family time around the table for a meal or game, this property checks all of the boxes. Local shops, entertainment, and food are all within walking distance, as is the Rodanthe Pier and a private pond for fishing. On a side note, North Carolina has a 10-day fishing license that you can buy online at ncwildlife.org for less than $15 (under 16 years old is FREE) that was perfect for me and my kids. As a host, Tamara is best in her class. She responds quickly to any and all questions, and provides a beautiful, comfortable space that is meticulously organized down to the smallest details. She even has things labeled so you know what light switch works what lights, how to use the coffee bar (yes, you read that correctly... coffee bar!), as well as all of the little things that sometimes take time to figure out in other rental properties. We are so happy we got to "be her guests", 5 stars just doesn't seem enough! We can't wait to return!

We enjoyed our week very much. Condo was just the right size for us with many extras. The kitchen had anything you needed to eat in there were plenty of games and movies to entertain the kids. Tamara was very helpful with any questions or problems we had. I especially enjoyed the relaxing deck and the walk to the beach was very short! I would recommend this condo.
