"First night was really good then a spray something in the air and I could not stop sneezing. I had to shut off the air conditioning first night with the window open and I got eaten by mosquitoes the other three nights with the door closed and I was sweating like crazy. Nice place if you’re not allergic to all those different smells.

"We liked the location of the Avani. Rooftop bar and restaurants were quite good. Our two issues, although they appear insignificant, did matter. We requested a 2nd luggage rack for our suitcase, only to be told we had to “make one”? Bottom line, no luggage racks available. So if you are two people in one room, it is a bit awkward. As for our other issue, some concierge are more knowledgeable than others. Birt, was exceptional. "

"Room very clean and tidy. Staff from reception and concierge helpful and polite. Shuttle bus to the airport was good for us as it fitted our schedule. However, this only runs every hour and a half. On the way to the airport we had to use Bolt to arrive. Food in the restaurant is sub-standard, also a 10% service charge for absolutely no service. We had a dirty table, no cutlery and the main meals arrived 20 minutes apart. Once you have ordered you are forgotten about, thankfully we didn’t want...
