Our recent experience with Bovey Castle was deeply disappointing. We had our reservation cancelled abruptly because we were bringing our cat, despite having no such issues in the past. The Deputy General Manager's handling of the situation lacked any personal communication or courtesy, leaving us feeling utterly disregarded as guests.
This incident raises serious concerns about the hotel's customer service. As a result, l urge fellow cat lovers and pet owners to reconsider patronizing this hotel. It's crucial to support establishments that value all their guests, including those with furry companions.

Emanuele, this is not strictly true is it?In February 2023 you came to stay without advising about your pet; feline or otherwise. You simply arrived with your cat. We allowed the stay to go ahead as a gesture of goodwill but you were told, on departure, that you would NOT be allowed to bring him/her again. For February 2024 you booked via our website and indicated you were bringing a dog. Only when we asked for breed/age and name did you admit it was your cat. You were advised again, that your cat would not be allowed in the hotel and were offered free amendment or cancellation - you asked US to cancel your stay.
