This house was absolutely spotless. So cute. Fantastic view. Everything worked. Everything’s labeled. Good stash of towels, cleaning products, etc. Lots of places to sit/hang out, so family members could seek out a quiet place to read or nap if needed. The laundry machines worked well and came in clutch! All the appliances were modern.We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thankfully the bedrooms are on the other side of the house from the next door neighbor who had bunches of people over, loudly talking outside until late at night, 2 nights in a row (that could happen anywhere so we sure don’t hold it against the host!). The only thing we would add would be a kayak or paddle board at the dock so we could experience the riverfront…but we understand that could be a liability issue.One of the bedrooms has a non-usable closet because of a strong mildew smell…the owner/host is clearly aware of it, as there is a large anti-damp packet in the closet. This wasn’t an issue for us because we didn’t bring hanging clothes LOL. If we had, there was ample room in the master walk-in closet for everyone. This is a recently-renovated older home, so it has charm and it has quirks. I also would have liked a “your stay is coming soon; here’s the details” kind of email like I have received from every other VRBO host a few days before the stay. I was a little anxious that we might have been forgotten because I didn’t receive that last contact from the host.
