This house is great. Location is awesome and plenty of room. Very conveniently located to all the great places to eat and stuff to do. Pier is a quick walk as is the beach access. House is well kept and will for sure book this property again.

I made the mistake of deleting our keyless entry code and the owner Riley took care of us from out of state! The owner responded quickly to any questions before arriving and while in OBX. This was my family’s second visit and you cannot beat the location. Across the street from the beach and walking distance to several restaurants. Hardwood floors throughout the house allow for easy clean up to sweep sand & crumbs. The comforters could use a wash but everything is as pictured. Basic kitchen items stocked & available, but we should of brought Tupperware for leftovers! Bedrooms were plenty spacious for our family and the deck has awesome chairs to enjoy the ocean view. We will definitely be back!

The rental, location, nearby venues. We could have asked for a better place to stay...and affordability. For all of the above and rental price it was perfect and has made it possibly for my family to enjoy a vacation together in a beautiful place for the last 2 years!

We loved the decor and how close it was to the beach. The beds were comfortable. There were plenty of bathrooms. It was close to restaurants- Tortuga’s Lie is a long time favorite of ours. We also ate at Lucky 12 Tavern. They are both within easy walking distance. There is a short walk to the beach and there are no steps going over the dunes- helpful when you are using a beach wagon to cart everything back and forth. -we left our beach buggy there for others to use since we plan on getting a new one next year. The kitchen is small and for the most part we could find everything we needed. It could use a new set of measuring cups and spoons. The grill isn’t usable, imo. There is a small tabletop grill in the utility room. We didn’t use it either so I can’t say how well that works. The small kitchen fit our needs perfectly though, since we ate out most of the time. We loved it and would stay again! What would make it even better?- I love having linen service instead of having to bring everything. It would be nice if that were included. There is a ton of space in the back yard that would be great for a pool :) And, restocking the kitchen with updated (matching and complete) sets of dinnerware, silverware, etc. + a new grill.

5 women, age range 66 yr. to over 70yr. stayed 11/4/22 - 11/7/22. Location, cleanliness, accommodations, & decor were Wonderful !!! Nice size bedrooms with ceiling fans & TV, comfortable mattresses, & plenty of seating in living and dining. Prior to our stay, & reading the latest review, I called owner to discuss the negatives pointed out. I was told “all should be fine”. Just as mentioned in that review, upstairs bathroom ceiling light out, inside staircase light out, Most importantly.. the darn fridge was barely cool & freezer was not cold enough. We had to place fridge items in freezer & they did get cold (not frozen)!!! Thank goodness we had no fresh meats or seafood. A huge safety concern was the outside stairs.. absolutely no solar or flood lights working We used our phone flashlights. I called owner 11/4 PM to discuss these matters. Next day he sent a neighbor to replace the 2 lightbulbs and “measure the fridge size.. guess he’s getting a new one. Before we left was noted the towel bar in full bathroom 1st level broken and lying on top of a cabinet & shower curtain liner moldy!! In the Blue bedroom their was a lamp broken in several pieces in the closet. Lastly was operating the televisions… probably easy for a NASA employee. Upon contacting owner he said “there USED TO BE instructions but now missing. Well if he new that why not do something about it ??Yes… I would probably stay there again only if all is working. Oh, by the way… were we offered any sort of compensation ( especially due to fridge and severe safety hazard of outside stairs)HECK NO

Enjoyed the house, great location, affordable, and available for short stays (we like 3 nights). Needs minor maintenance items repaired. Ceiling light in upstairs bathroom doesn't work, bathroom fan has short in switch and we saw 2 large cockroaches (needs exterminating). The refrigerator did not cool even with the coldest setting,. These items I mentioned in my review from our stay last year, cooking pans are worn out, we actually took a new large frying pan and left it for others and needs working lights on outside stairs.

House has some views of the ocean, loved sitting on the upper deck watching people and wild life. Rooms are great size, kitchen is a little small. Could use some new pots and pans, other than that just a perfect place. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent check-in, property was all as advertised, owner was nice enough to extend our code to get back into house after we left, due to some personal belongings being left behind. Would recommend, top deck perfect for morning coffee.
