"Staff are absolutely spot on, on the ball, very friendly. The hotel is very clean, rooms have amazing views over the valley. The rooms here were some of my nices on my trip to Sri Lanka. Naughty Monkeys pay a visit occasionally too! Its little put of town but going downhill, ypu can be in the centre of Kandy by walking in 10 mins. Coming back.... get a Tuk tuk! "

"Hotel Cassendra was a real find. The staff were so lovely and really couldn't do enough to make my stay more pleasant. No question or request was too great or small for them. It is up a steep hill so.wpuld make quite a hike from Kandy but its maybe 300 rupees in a tuk tuk to get up. Very easy to walk down into Kandy however, and it also passes the viewpoint. When you get to the Royal park, there is a lane to the right of it and that ia a handy shortcut into town. It's honesly only a 10min walk....

"We only had one night in Kandy on this trip. The Radh is positioned within a couple of minutes walk of the sacred tooth temple and so was ideal.
The staff were all very.pleasent and helpful, right from check-in until we checked out.
The rooms and facilities were great.
Shame we didnt have longer to enjoy this wonderful hotel. "

"Es un hotel nuevo. Nuestra habitación era muy espaciosa y con muy buenas vistas. La cama, muy cómoda. Desayuno completo. Cenamos allí las dos noches porque próximo al hotel no hay opciones para ir a pie, un día de carta y otro bufé, y recomendamos el menú a la carta. Personal muy atento. Los amenities están en bolsitas biodegradables, lo cual me parece un detalle y un plus con respecto a otros hoteles.
Respecto al personal, todos muy bien, pero especial mención al barman del rooftop"

"Very neat place to stay, up a cliff overlooking the river and large Buddha up in the hills. We had a family suite with two large bathrooms, two bedrooms, two balconies and incredible view. Infinity pool perched on the edge of the property, very cool! Incredible service and excellent food.

The building, which has been beautifully restored and appointed, sits in arguably the best location above Kandy and the warm and elegant hospitality was memorable. We cannot recommend more highly! I was shocked to see a negative review in my name which most definitely did not come from me. Beware of hacks. "

"Beautiful colonial property, from the rooms to the décor, that transports you back in time. It is very clean, cozy and feels like home. The property rests on top of a hill that over overlooks Kandy and the view is stunning (especially from the infinity pool). Further, the attention to detail, hospitality and professionalism of the owner and staff made this stay even more delightful.
