Pros: The Metro Station is on the same property (100 feet). You do not have to get on the Champlain Bridge at all (saves time and traffic). Easy access to everything Montreal has to offer without having to get in your car at all during your stay (if you use the metro). Clean enough. Very comfy beds and pillows.
Cons: You will hear traffic driving by all night long. The walls are thin so when we stayed it was hard to sleep well because a lot of people came and went very late at night and their voices carried loudly as did the doors closing. Elevators are VERY slow. We pressed to go down early in the morning. We waited for a good five minutes. When the elevator didn't open up still we took all of our luggage to check, out down five flights of stairs, still beating the gentleman who chose to stay and wait for the elevator, to the lobby.
The heater/air conditioner was a bit musty (so we didn't use it despite being hot).
For breakfast you pay extra, which I wouldn't mind if it was good, but it was overpriced for what you get (lots of carbs: toast, waffles, bagles, muffins). Hardboiled eggs but no scrambled. No bacon or sausage. Just yogurt, cereal, unappetizing bowl of fruit cocktail. Overall don't waste your money on the underwhelming breakfast.
Staff is very friendly but checking in seemed like it took longer than it should (although perhaps the guests in front of us were just too chatty).
I would definitely stay again though. No major deterrents.
