"This B&B is in a lovely old house, the kind of place I'm always looking for. The self check-in was a bit odd, since part of the charm of a B&B (to me anyway) is a warm greeting from the host. "Room was nicely furnished, clean, and looked like it had been recently remodeled. Staff was friendly and check-in/out was quick and easy. Good location for both Napa and Sonoma wineries. Lots of good dining and shopping options nearby as well. Did not try the pool or hot tub."

"Great hotel to stay in when visiting the area. The price per night was very fair. The pool, hot tub, breakfast, room and room amenities were excellent. Whenever there was an issue, staff were very quick to fix. Our smoke alarm battery went into low battery mode in the middle of the night and they had someone replace the battery in under 5 min. "I hated staying here, couldn’t wait to leave. It’s disgusting. The room was filthy and run down. The carpet was so dirty that the soles of our feet were black after walking across it. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. There was a musty odor. Air conditioner didn’t work, couldn’t get TV to work. Check in was very unwelcoming. I am not a fancy hotel person and usually quite happy with a budget option. Not true here- I will never stay here again."

"We loved the Union. It wasn't our first time there and it never disappoints. We had the largest room on the 3rd floor with a 180 degree view and amazing original furniture from the early 1900s. The only small complaint is that the king sized bed could use a new mattress. We didn't sleep well because it was pretty bad, but don't let this discourage you from staying there. Maybe they will read this and put a new mattress on the bed. :)"

"We stayed before and knew what to expect and it didn't disappoint. We live near the coast with fog in the summer and we went to get some sunshine and to enjoy the amenities. We also love the saloon and the French bakery nearby."
