"We checked in for an evening wedding. As we entered the room, we heard a dog barking. The dog continued to bark and howl. We showered, dressed and left for the wedding with the hope that the owners would return and dog would be quiet. No luck. Also, there was pink slime in a corner of the shower."

"I travel regularly for appointments in Chapel Hill. This is the first time and the last I will stay at this hotel. I was awaken several times by loud steps from the upper level on top of my room. I was in room 327. Not sure if this is a regular thing, but the least I expect when staying at a hotel is a good nights sleep. The noise level outside was also horrible. The pillows on the bed were also disappointing. Will continue using Aloft where at least I can assure I will be able to sleep."

"We really like this property. Right next to a small pond, surrounded by trees, very convenient to the freeway and to a Greenway to walk or run in the morning, across from Aldi and food options. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, room was great and on the back of the hotel and sides it overlooks trees or a pond. We did not notice any noise from the highway. Great hotel."

"Rooms were super clean and hotel lobby as well. Location is excellent. There were many college kids there for a taekwondo competition so breakfast was packed. Otherwise, very happy there."

"Poor plumbing!! The sink kept clogging up..there were hair on the “clean” towels!! Overall the place seems to be falling apart from neglect!! The carpet smells super musty!! However, the location is great!!"

"The staff were nice and our stay was fine overall. Two things require improvements: 1) the hallways frequently smelled very bad. 2) It’s impossible to relax in outdoor areas if other guests are allowed to play videos or music (loudly) on speaker. I would suggest putting up clear signs that having one’s phone on speaker in common areas is not allowed and actually enforcing it."

"The property was good. The pool was ice cold ( fresh water ) but I booked the hotel because of the pool. We would stay there again!"

"We really like the homewood suites brand and look forward to the expected amenities- this one was in a great location but could use a bit of refreshment. Not sure why the hallways have the exposed wiring at the ceiling wall. Breakfast was nice but not as extensive as other locations such as Dallas/ Fort Worth. We had a very long walk from our unit 329 to lobby/ breakfast area. Overall rating is good and I would stay again "

"House keeping could be improved. Requested additional towels because they only clean every other day, and they would not bring them to the room. Made you pick them up downstairs. "
