"The rates were great. The location and the building felt safe and secure. Check in was easy, the building and the room were clean. The staff was accommodating for our unique check-in and check-out needs. The space worked well for our family. Walmart was very close by for convenient shopping, and we weren't far from additional shopping and restaurants. "

"The house was just like the photos - very clean and comfortable- and in a great location for all that we wanted to do in Durham. Communication was timely. We hope to stay here again on future trips to Durham!"

"Place worked well for what we needed."

"Such a wonderful experience staying here. We came for a neices wedding and Linda and Glenn were gracious to allow us to host a family get together for 4 generations. It was the first time the entire family had been together in decades, coming from Tennessee, California and North Carolina. The home was absolutely perfect for entertaining, with a large kitchen and beautiful deck overlooking the woods. The family enjoyed eating and catching up with ample places to sit and gather. "This place is exactly as advertised. We stayed for a baseball showcase and it was perfect for our family. It had all the amenities you would need and if anything is forgotten I am sure the host thought of it and you can find it at the house. The welcome snack basket was a huge hit with my kids! The beds were comfy, rooms were clean, more than enough space for a family of 4, and private! Would absolutely recommend to anyone. "

"Pictures of the place are not accurate. The lobby was supposed to be renovated and it was not. This seemed like and “extended stay” for people that need a quick night or 2. I did not feel safe there "

"We had an amazing visit! Our apartment was beautifully equipped and was in an unbelievable location! Everything was walkable and the people in the area were incredibly friendly. We loved hanging out in our apartment and the common areas. We will definitely use Barsala again in other cities - they were phenomenal with our customer service and the place was a 10 out of 10!!!"

"The Premier Host distinction is well earned and deserved. The property is a prime example of excellent hospitality. I was able to host my family just as I would at home. Samuel’s thoughtfulness can be seen in details throughout the property. If we’re back in Durham, this would be our desired lodging! God bless you and your family, Samuel!"
