"Parking is tricky, but we found a free parking lot close by. Check-in was easy and Livia was a gem full of helpful tips and resources. Check out - the front desk guy wasn’t very helpful. We paid the city tax in cash and wanted our change in coins - just a few coins to use in town- very much needed in Italy and he wasn’t willing to provide coins or even break a ten. He offered no assistance. Overall the room, spa and property is nice. No restaurant during off season, but the breakfast provided...

"The room was spacious and the hotel is in a great location right in the middle of town. The balcony looked out over the town and landscape. It could not have been prettier. Also the staff was very friendly."

"An sich eine super Gegend - jedoch vorher abklären ob man in die Zone mit dem Auto fahren kann. Villengegend am Hang und ca. 25-30 min Fußweg zur Innenstadt. Das Nebengebäude mit hat mehrere Zimmer, leider war unserer nicht renoviert sondern etwas In die Jahre gekommen. Dafür hatte es einen kleinen Balkon direkt zum Parkplatz hin. "

"The location was perfect. Its one the less busy side of the river but a very easy walkto the highlights of Florence. The breakfast was great. Lots of variety. The room we had was a good not a great.Smallish compared to others we've had on this trip and the shower was small. Lovely view of the river outside of our window."

"Excellent stay at Hotel David. Not only did the managers happy hour (90 minutes) impress, they also offered 3 free drinks from the fridge each day and also had a great breakfast included. Room was a nice size, staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again and recommend it."

"Lovely, elegant hotel. Our room had a beautiful view of the river and the Ponte Vecchio. The location is perfect--a few minutes to the heart of the Florence. The staff is exceptionally attentive and kind. The concierge helped us so much with tickets and restaurant reservations! We will differently stay here again. "

"What a beautiful hotel!! Spacious room, updated nice bathroom, and gorgeous views and property. Very friendly staff, too. Breakfast is awesome and they had plenty GF options too. They also have a shuttle to take you up and down the hill to the main part of town, which was very helpful and meant we didn’t have to pay for taxis hardly at all. Overall an amazing place! "

"The hotel was in a great location. It has stairs and then an old fashioned original lift to get up to the hotel. There are lots of stairs throughout the property so not good for mobility. The staff were really friendly throughout. "
