"Very nice hotel with comfortable, refurbished rooms that don't ruin the character of an historic building. Breakfast was decent with plentiful selections, although you might want to go earlier as it get very busy at 9am on a Sunday. We didn't try the restaurant but the menu looked excellent. You cannot do better in Henley in terms of location, it's right next to the Thames and famous bridge. The hand written note from the manager was a very nice touch. "

There is fresh milk for your tea or coffee downstairs, but there wasn't quite enough for the multiple cups I drink in a day ;). A bottle of water in-room would be great, there were some refillable bottles of water near the fridge with the milk downstairs, but it smelled a bit musty when I opened it, so I just used tap, which seemed fine. Warm and comfortable. Quality bedlinen. Tea making facilities in room as well as access to guest kitchen for preparing food if required. Delicious breakfast preordered beautifully presented. Good WiFi. Quite simply nothing was too much trouble for Natalie who demonstrates quite clearly that she loves her running...

"This pub is a really well looked after and the rooms are super comfortable... lovely bed, large rooms... The breakfast is top quality and a great comfortable experience... The only things to note are, it is not as close to Henley as I thought, it was about 4-5 miles away and there is NO mobile reception in the pub or the rooms... if you need to make or receive any calls, you have to walk around the car park or the village for a reception...! Apart from that, I would definately go back and stay,...
