"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful carriage house during a recent wedding weekend. It was perfect for the two of us—very clean, modern, and thoughtfully decorated. The tall ceilings made the space feel open and airy, and the layout was just right for a couple. It truly felt like a home away from home. "My wife & I stayed in this property for 18 nights. It is located on the idyllic Dataw Island, just 10 minutes from beautiful Beaufort and 10 minutes from the magnificent beach at Hunting Island. Dataw Island is quiet, safe & picturesque. Wildlife is abundant (Alligators; Dolphins; Deer; Raccoon; and so many bird species) ..... whilst at the same time it has a lovely outdoor pool, wildlife area, golf courses etc. The property was well located, well maintained and quiet."

"Want to get away from it all and experience Beaufort SC's Sea Islands? Then this is the place. This is a comfortable cottage in a fairly remote part of St. Helena Island. We are familiar with the area and were not expecting anything too fancy so we were happy with it. It was clean, the kitchen was functional for meal prep and the owners were friendly and helpful. The cottage had lots of space indoors as well as a deck and patio. Would book again."

"Beautiful sunsets, accomodates many, we had 10. Hunting island state park has a beautiful beach. Should be aware of the outside porch access to the upstairs. Not the best for small children unless you are going to bed at the same time. "

"This property is as advertised, clean, stocked with all essentials, and an extra touch for the little details that were much appreciated. We, husband and small dog, had a wonderful stay watching the tide all day. My favorite place was the screened porch. We used the pass to go to Hunting Island. We ate at Seaside Bar and Grill, right down the road, and the best fried shrimp I've ever had. We went to Gay's Fish Market several times to pick up fresh catch for supper. A very relaxing hideaway....
