Lovely place that needs a bit of upgrading

Booked this stay for its Castle description for a special celebration. Everyone on the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Some may call this place ‘dated’ but imo it was elegant in a hunters lodge/castle-y way. Beautiful bathroom, large room and comfortable bed. Nicely appointed with 2 desks and club chairs and table with view of the grounds. Petted ponies and saw bunnies. Great food. Thank you Chef for the sweet treats! Thank you Joy for the nice room assignment. Thank you to Salil and Alison and to those that we didn’t know your names. What fun!

The apartments are very modern and comfortable and we enjoyed the location. It was very quiet and the view of the loch was very nice. The manager was very responsive when I had questions and provided recommendations for restaurants that were convenient to our travel plans. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area.

Of all the 8 venues we stayed in check in was the most tedious and time consuming. It was very puzzling to me.

It is a very comfortable country house hotel. The drawback is the restaurant is presently shut on Sundays and Mondays thus food has to be obtained elsewhere.
