"It’s a brand new hotel that was beautifully designed. The rooms are spacious and well- appointed and the amenities well-curated. It’s located in a quiet residential area and away from the high-traffic tourist areas but within easy walking distance to many areas of interest as well as to 2 train stations. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating, especially Ruby and Viola who welcomed us upon arrival and patiently answered our many questions. We highly recommend this hotel."

"One of the best experiences we had. They had a beautiful card from the kids club for my little one in our room when we entered our room and they wanted her to go and play with the kids. She loved the club and specially Miss Saki. Miss Saki went above and beyond to make her happy. She even gave her a beautiful card with a nice water bottle the last day we were leaving. My daughter is missing her everyday and she can't wait to go back. The room, the food, room service, communication,...everything...

"The staff at Hyatt Regency Kyoto were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Their excellent service made our stay enjoyable. However, the property is very outdated, and the guest rooms are in need of a full remodel to match the level of hospitality. With renovations, this hotel could be truly exceptional. The room had an unpleasant smell that should be addressed as part of the property's renovation."

"The room was very clean and nice / spacious. The Ryokan is run by a husband and wife who have had it for 3 generations and you can tell they love what they do and owning it! They are so caring and kind and helped with everything we needed. It’s walkable distance from the mall and train station."

"Wifi hardly ever worked during our stay. It was extremely disappointing as we needed wifi access. On the checkout date, the cleaners came in without ringing a door bell first just before 10am check out time."

"We stayed in the bamboo suite and would highly recommend it. We have traveled the world, and this one was of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. We loved the oversized bathtub, comfortable beds and they have wonderful hair/body/face cleaning products. This is the only hotel that I’ve preferred to use their face wash over my own. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good, in a quiet neighborhood, and about a 10 minute walk to the bus or metro."

"This was by far our favorite stay throughout our travels. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the food was delicious. However, what completely stood out was the way the staff went above and beyond in the most genuine way to welcome not only the adults but also our children, ages 8 and 10.
