"Great location for the stampede. Easy to get to the fair grounds. Very comfortable room, and view was great, would recommend bringing ear plugs, the fire station is beside the hotel and the sirens were quite loud through the night. You have to pay for parking, but it is nice to park indoors. Restaurant and coffee shop on site."

"Good hotel overall just not great. Rooms were OK. Pool was OK although flooring was very slippery. The food at the hotel restaurant was good. Would’ve appreciated little extras like coffee at front desk for example or things like that otherwise it remained an affordable stay during Stampede season."

"Clean rooms, small, slow elevator but stairs easily accessible. Parking lot is not big and hard to manage a truck in, especially when guests park in no parking spots due to lack of parking. Annabelle and the man at the breakfast buffet were awesome and attentive!! Other guests need to not be so rude and demanding as they are doing their best to keep it stocked in a small area and busy with guests!! Front desk was very polite and helpful!!"

"Shower was cold with periodic warm water. The bed sheets were stained and old/hard. The fridge didn't work. This is a hotel I'd expect to pay $50/night but it cost us $200/night. I get that the Stampede raises room costs in Calgary, but come on. We weren't even in Calgary for the stampede anyway."

"Horrible noise. Party tent just below. Staff just say too bad so sad it’s the city. They need to inform people when booking that it’s very very noisy. They even do maintenance at 11 pm. They charge a premium and have very very poor service."

"Negatives We unfortunately received a room facing the back of the building. Also due to the position of the rooms you will get a lot of sunlight through as the blinds unfortunately were not black our drapes. The breakfast in the club level was subpar. DEVILLE coffee shop across the street was awesome and reasonably priced. Positive. Pool and Gym is nice with a great view. Proximity to Stephens street was great with lots of restaurants. Easy access to train especially if headed to...
