"Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was beautiful and (when I was there) very quiet. There's also a small sauna and steam room, and a tiny (but perfectly formed) gym, Excellent breakfast selection, and again staff very helpful, even with late arriving guests. "The room is small but comfortable and welcoming. It has a nice bed and bathroom However, It is an old building and you can hear the noise from other rooms so not very relaxing or private to hang out in. The self check in means you see no staff but the pub staff are friendly and helpful if you need anything. Located a 10 min walk from Knepp wilding project so convenient for us. "

"The hotel was a quaint old British house with high ceilings and wide stairs. A little bit dated and possibly in need of some cosmetic improvements, but very nice, quiet and relaxed. The rooms were relatively spacious and clean, and the breakfast was very good. Staff were extremely friendly and polite, and the location was close enough to the town centre and the train station, without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a busy street.
