"This is a wonderful property right in the middle of Jesmond walking to the park. Staff are helpful and polite. Room was good size and comfortable nothing extraordinary though. Obviously this is an old house and in some cases it shows its age. Note it’s a 8-10 min drive to town so not walking to central Newcastle. There’s public transport which can take about half an hour or a bit more. But is worth the stay for its proximity to the park. "

"From arrival we were really impressed with this place. The lady greeting us and showing us to our room, was lovely and made us feel welcome from the outset. I’m not sure if this lady is the owner, but she was always busy and appeared to show genuine concern that guests needs were being taken care of. "The apartment was great, conveniently located for Newcastle City Center (within a short walk, or short hop on the Metro), Jesmond Metro station and restaurants and cafes in the local area. Check in via the adjacent Holiday Inn was quick and efficient and access to parking (free with the apartment!) was easy. "Hotel rooms at the back of a large traditional local stone public house. Very good standard of room. Easy to park car park of a good size. Bus stops directly outside the hotel. 15mins walk to town centre. Check-in though was too slow, using staff that were occupied at the bar. Staff very friendly when eventually the lady arrived. Check-out also suffered by using staff from the pub area, although early in the morning the wait was not long."
