"We stayed for one night and the hotel reception staff were so helpful, they really made our stay so easy. The room was lovely and the provision of a fan in the heat this weekend was much appreciated! We will definitely be back. Also, the layout and the way the property is maintained is gorgeous, such lovely plants made it feel really cared for and seeing the Peregrines nesting on the church opposite was the icing on the cake!"

It was evident from the certificates and photos around the place that it had been a hotel & restaurant of note with award winning credentials. "First time stayed here, and could not fault a thing. (One or two little.niggles but nothing to complain about). Staff were helpful and all very friendly. Room was (as requested) a twin accessible room as mum.needs one these days.- and quiet. Meals were either in restaurant or bar area.Plenty of parking too, including disabled.bays. Overall, would stay here again if in Peterborough."

"The staff were very helpful. The hotel is very tired and needs some changing and upgrades and the bathroom was not clean with ingrained grubbiness. At breakfast, there was a coffee machine with no facilities for decaffeinated coffee. Just sachets of decaffeinated. Otherwise breakfast was good."
