"We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at 1, The Green. The cottage is full of character and exceptionally well equipped – it even had hair tongs! It felt homely and comfortable, and was the perfect place to return to after some picturesque walks along the old Grantham Canal and a visit to Belvoir Castle. Lynn was a fantastic host – communication was excellent throughout. When we encountered a minor issue with the boiler on arrival, she swiftly arranged an emergency callout on the Friday...

"Be aware that this is a residential property without your own entrance. It is in a shabby and unsafe feeling part of town and the pictures are not representative of the property at all. Owners uncontactable in any way. As a single traveller, I did not stay here as i felt very unsafe on arrival. Expedia are yet to support me in the process and i ended up paying for a second property."
