"An absolutely wonderful hotel for a couple mini break. Stunning contemporary interiors and dreamy comfortable bed. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. The bacon was particularly worth trying - clearly care about the quality of food they are serving. Staff were professional and polite and we would never have guessed they were only open for a week. Well done Ragged Robin team you are doing a great job. "

"Truly a gem of a place to stay . We had wedding reception to attend at the stag so booked two days . The management and staff were so professional which put them up with five star status. The pub restaurant was alway fully book a reflection of how good the food is . I gem of a place and will definitely return . "

"We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). "They were very accommodating to our late check in and trips back and forth to the hospital. The room was lovely, nice crisp sheets and fluffy towels with robes too. There are tea making facilities tucked away in the wardrobe. Plus a fan if it’s warm. The staff are really helpful, it’s a joy to stay there."

"St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive. Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...
