"Modern hotel with good amenities. It was in a quieter area of town, easy to walk to from the train station but still only a few minutes from the city center. Behind the property is the walking trail along the River Ness which was great as we could follow the trail & it brings us to many sights in Inverness. "Booked online. There is a bar downstairs that closes at midnight. If you don’t mind being kept awake until 2 am because of the noise from the bar and the people and traffic in the street then this is the place for you. The room was nice enough. A fan would have been greatly appreciated. Parking is off site. "

"Lovely building in a quiet area but easily walkable to the town centre. There’s a car park right at the hotel. Check in was in the bar area, which was fine, there’s no lift but there’s only a couple of floors anyway. No breakfast but we were already aware and happy to eat elsewhere. Room and en-suite were nice, room had a fridge which was great! We had plenty of towels. Only drawbacks were, bed was a bit creaky, and the bathroom could have done with a little shelf or worktop to set toiletries ...

"Great hotel in a perfect location. Easy directions for entry. Room was spacious. Close to bars and restaurants which can be a little loud if noise bothers you. We would definitely stay again on our next trip. "

"We stayed here for the convenient location, and had a bit of an emergency. The staff could not have been more kind or helpful. I will make this my regular place to stay every time I am in the area, which is 4-5x a year. Fantastic food too! "

"I loved staying here, the location is great. It is about a five minute walk from the train station, and within walkable distance to the center shops, dinning, and great areas to site see. The room was beautiful and very clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was very spacious and very nice! There was also a very stocked up welcome basket in the room. The staff was friendly and very helpful, and check in and out was quick and easy. Didn't try the food downstairs, but the drinks...

"Room was nice. It was pretty warm in the room and the window didn’t open very far but they did have fans. Stay was great. Pool and hot tub were a nice treat for the end of our trip."

"We loved our stay at Rowan Tree. Staff are friendly, the hotel is cosy and authentic. The highlight for us was the amazing food. Very good cooked breakfast included but the dinners were just fabulous. I would come back for the Venison or Beef Wellington alone."
