"The room was very clean and had good amenities that were very accessible as well as a kitchen for guests to use. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful even though I had to come in late due to car trouble"

"The room was really nice and spacious, but they really need an elevator (lift) as our room was 2 floors up and I am disabled. Food was excellent- we’re sorry we had to miss breakfast due to an early flight. Staff was very helpful."

Looked clean but did have cobwebs and I had to put two spiders out. Bathroom was nice and new and again, looked clean but had cobwebs. We booked one of the loch view rooms but, while we could see the loch if we stood at one side of the window and looked round the corner, we were mainly looking out over the side...

You can sit by the fire with a glass of wine, chatting to other guests, looking out on to Loch Ness and then retire to beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean bedrooms. "This was the most expensive hotel on our entire trip. Although the staff were friendly, rooms were clean and decent and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the restaurant, it was very overpriced. There is also a paid parking lot nearby. Be aware that although free overnight, they will ticket after 8am. "

"The service was wonderful. The staff helped arrange things like taxis and a horse ride and made sure I got breakfast before an early morning tour (excellent scones!). They were especially accommodating on my last day when I was taking a late train, allowing me to shower and have a place to hang out for a little while in the late afternoon. The common areas feel historic but comfortable and well kept. The rooms are mostly updated but if you want a historic feel, be sure to request it. Pretty much...
