"The accommodation was comfortable and clean, and well equipped. It was ideally situated for touring around the area, and even though the apartment was in the town, it was quiet and only a few minutes walk to shops and eating places. The owner was quick to respond to a query we had, and gave us useful information prior to our visit. A relaxing and enjoyable stay, plenty of places to visit and local walks. "

"Brilliant Pub, Amazing staff and Stunning Surroundings. We only stayed for 2 nights but would of loved to stay longer. Staff were attentive and welcoming. We were very impressed by our room which was extremely spacious with a large shower room and even a sauna in the room. Our Bed was so comfy and the pub was full of friendly locals. We were slightly worried when we arrived as there was limited parking spaces for the hotel itself however immediately next door was a huge public carpark which was...

"My second time in the Darwin Town House and location wise it's great. I am a huge fan of Shrewsbury and visit often. This quirky hotel is a slice of history and homage to CD himself. The room was pretty small, cosy so would not ideally want to stay in this room again but there are others which are not in the main building which would I would request. The honesty bar is cute and the staff are super. Totally recommend the breakfast, made to order and super location to start the day in the garden...

"A lovely hotel with excellent staff. Located in the centre of the town. Car parking accross the road at a NCP car park. Not suitable for disabled people as lots of stairs and no lift. Had a shower over the high bath but no bath rail was there to help slipping. Food good and I would recommend this hotel."

"A hidden gem! With character. Excellent value for money. Very spacious room (Room 3). Friendly, no fuss staff. We joined in with the locals in the quiz on Wednesday evening - great fun. Had the 2 for £20 meal deal - good belly pork. Nice real ale - Wainwrights. Good breakfast. Central location, 10 minutes walk from railway station."

"I’ve stayed here previously, always appreciate the warm welcome from staff, explained everything thoroughly….very comfortable room, slept well! There is live music and there were a lot of people having a great time, finished at a reasonable time so no worries here. The only thing I would suggest that needs attention is the shower curtain, it created a musty smell in the bathroom. I’ll hopefully be back next year. "
