"We got the grand room and the room given was the last room available when we check in - corner & low floor. Upon entering, the room was so warm, it was already 9pm. The aircon does produce cold wind but several hours later the room is still warm and won’t stay cold despite the biggest fan speed and lowest temperature. Was sweating in the middle of the night."

"For a good short getaway for family with young kids and seniors, Hard Rock Desaru can be a good option. Morning breakfast has a decent spread. The nearby beach was great with fine sand that was perfect for the kids to play in. One can spot little hermit crabs along the beach as well which kept the kids entertained. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing family getaway with a good mix of beach time, activities, and good food nearby."

"We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment upon arrival! We arrived early and since the apt wasn’t ready yet, we left our luggage at the front counter and went to a nearby coffee shop for lunch. Love that it was walking distance to many cafes including Burung Hantu Nasi Lemak. Apartment itself was clean, nicely furnished with amenities provided including a washer/dryer and detergent which was perfect since we needed to wash some clothes. Love the pool on the top floor.
