"This was a beautiful resort in a very nice location. Unfortunately, two of the pools were closed when we were there for maintenance and the weather wasn’t very nice so we were unable to use the beach facilities. There was only one restaurant open for supper dining options. We had to pay for a shuttle into town or you could walk about 20 minutes. "We loved our stay in Cat Ba! Linda was an amazing host and the staff were so helpful. We had the most delicious hot pot there one evening. Linda helped us with all our planning. It had a quaint garden with puppies running around, and monkeys howling in the distance. A/C worked and our daughter swam in the pool at night. Would recommend if looking for a homestay in the area!"

"Our stay at the Moon Boutique Hotel was wonderful. This was the best hotel we stayed at on our 2 week trip to Vietnam. The rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and helpful for all our needs. The location is right in the main strip of Cat Ba town, which can be a bit hectic but our room wasn’t too noisy. This was a great value for the price and I would return."
