Welcome to my wonderful Yellow Cottage in Dilworth, a place ideal for relaxation! Stylish living area has a comfy couch, a book nook, and a large TV screen for you to enjoy. There is a kitchenette where you can prepare something tasty, queen size bed for some quality rest, air conditioning for an enjoyable stay and a beautiful yard!

All the above in the heart of Dilworth, walking distance to fine restaurants, bars and places of interest. We're minutes from Uptown and South End. This place is a great destination to recharge your batteries. Check it out!
The space
You will fall in love with this place! The first thing you will notice is the gorgeous backyard with outdoor furniture and many spots to enjoy a hot coffee or a nice chat!

Experience plenty of natural light when you walk through the door. You will find yourselves in an amazing studio, complete with kitchenette, sitting, sleeping, and work areas.

The kitchenette is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and an electric induction stove to prepare something delicious! Spacious breakfast bar to enjoy your creations and of course a coffee machine waiting to be used!

Our comfy couch is at your service and a massive TV screen to catch up on your favorite shows. You have a queen size bed to enjoy some quality sleep and of course air conditioning and heat so you never have to worry about room temperature! The decoration is modern and pleasing so you can relax while lying in your comfortable bed. There is a big wardrobe to store your luggage and organize your clothes, This space is designed and built to recharge your batteries after a full day!

Enjoy a rain shower. We offer all the necessities to elevate your experience, relax your muscles after an adventurous day spent viewing the sights of Charlotte.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Originally the brainchild of Edward Dilworth Latta in the 1890s, Dilworth was Charlotte's first streetcar suburb. To attract residents and businesses to the suburb, Latta built a 90-acre park as an enticement. The community was constructed as a grid that centered on East Boulevard, welcoming families to turn-ofthe- century, Queen Anne, colonial revival and Craftsman architecture. Today, a new generation has discovered the charm and neighborliness of Dilworth with its treelined streets, front porches and inviting sidewalks. It continues to thrive as one of Charlotte's most historic and popular neighborhoods. Shops and restaurants add to the area's appeal.

The place you will be staying is located near Historic Dilworth with friendly neighbors, conveniently close to lots of restaurants and many attractions.
Harris Teeter and Fresh Market are just one block away! The same goes for YAFO Kitchen if you want to taste something “Mediterranean”. Duck Donuts, Starbucks, and Brixx Wood Fired Pizza + Craft Bar, Bakersfield, Foxcroft Wine Bar, TCBY, Dolce Italian, Zen Fusion, Konnichiwa, and Vibe Cafe are all a 5 minute walk.

The cottage and location were great. 1 quibble, the sliding door on the wardrobe did not allow me to access the drawers.1 problem, since there was no parking allowed in the driveway (totally understandable) I had to park the rental car on a side street. Someone side swiped it. So be careful where you park.I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Experience!

I stayed at the cottage for a few days as a little getaway. Everything about this stay exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect and the cottage is beautiful and very comfortable! Beautiful Small Cottage.

The cottage was very clean inside…. We arrived in the fall, the outside needed some attention. The overall stay was wonderful. I had my 93 year-old mother-in-law with me. She loved it. John, was a wonderful host. Always got back to me promptly and was very kind.

WORST VRBO EXPERIENCE WE EVER HAD!!!

When we moved in we found that the unit was way to cold for us and the HVAC unit remote was not in the suite. I contacted the host 3 times, including the "emergency phone number listed" but never got a response. I ended up sleeping with 4 shirts, 2 pants and socks and ran the blow dryer all night just to stay still uncomfortable cold. My stay sucked due to freezing my ass off. This owner/manager talked like he cared but actually did NOTHING to meet our begging for heat! WORST VRBO EXPERIENCE WE EVER HAD!!!!

Cottage sanctuary in Dilworth

This sunny cottage is a tiny sanctuary nestled in the Dilworth neighborhood of Charlotte. The owners’ attention to detail is apparent in the design/furnishing of the space. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again! Note: if accessibility is a concern there are a few steps in the unit and the entry requires a walk down a (charming) flagstone and brick path.

The cottage is absolutely adorable and very well stocked. John was very easy to communicate with and was easy to contact with any questions. This cottage sits off the back of the property so it was safe and quiet. It rained most of the time we were there so we did not get to enjoy the backyard and patio, but it was extremely inviting and looks like the perfect spot to sit under the night sky with a glass of wine. We would definitely stay here again. Shops, grocery, and restaurant choices all within short walking distance.

An Oasis of Relaxation

The walk to the cottage is filled with beautiful flowers and greenery. It is relaxing from the moment you walk through the gate. The decor inside the rental is absolutely gorgeous. We had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable which is important to me as I have had several back surgeries. The cottage s located within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The hosts were wonderful to keep us informed and make sure we were content. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing and nicely located rental.
