"Great little hidden gem. Steps away from Windsor Castle great staff. The only downside is they don’t have an elevator so if you’re older and have heavy bags can be a little difficult but if you can handle the baggage, the place is wonderful."

"Room was excellent. Walls and ceilings are thin and creaky but this didnt bother us. It's in a very quiet street. We all love a great shower and the one here was very good. Lots of tea and coffee in the room. Small carpark at the rear. Location is perfect for Windsor, 5 minute walk. Brealfast was good."

"I have stayed in countless hotels over the years but The Sir Christopher Wren has to be one of the best . The location was perfect, all of the staff were friendly and helpful and the food both at breakfast and for evening meals was top quality. I can`t find a single thing I wasn`t happy with. Dave Duff"

"I had an amazing stay at Stoke Place Hotel in one of their Junior Suites, and it exceeded all expectations. The suite was beautifully appointed and offered a stunning view of the lake — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. "We had absolutely no heating. I tried several times to contact the owner by email, messenger and by phoning her. No reply. I had been in contact with her regarding check in via email and messenger, I even sent a photo of the temperature in the house. 10 degrees. I had to source 2 radiators myself, which a kind neighbour lent us. I would like a refund for our inconvenience "

"Stayed for 1 night as a base for Windsor racecourse. Friendly staff. My bedroom was a bit dated and needs painting and some water marks on the walls treating. My bed was comfortable and it was quiet so had a good sleep. I dined in the restaurant, which did buffet style Indian food. The food was excellent at a very reasonable price. The staff were happy to talk me through all the dishes available"
