"Overall I would rate this stay excellent. The room and view was lovely. Super clean and appeared to be newly redecorated. My only complaint would be that the following morning our exit from the floor our room on was blocked. Both stairs and lift with no direction on how to get out. Had their been a fire goodness only knows if we’d have had time to find an alternative way out in time. "

The desk is fixed to the wall which is fine but it's very poor quality, in 2 of the 3 rooms that I've stayed in the desk is cracked and ready to break. There is also a stool to sit on and again very poor quality and uncomfortable to sit on. I've stayed in single rooms and am satisfied with the rest of the facilities in the room. "Loved staying here. The guy who showed me round couldn't have been any kinder or more interested in telling me about the room. A full guided tour. The room I stayed in was a really great size, bathroom was great and the bed was comfy. The location was fantastic also. Only 2 points I'd like A hairdryer in the room A better fan (but to be fair there was a fan and at the moment it's like 100 degrees) These are the only 2 things I'd change but it doesn't impact my review because of the great...

"Really lovely staff and the check in experience was very pleasant. The room was just about acceptable in terms of cleanliness but the toilet was not clean and still had used paper in it. The room and the surroundings were very tired and beyond worn in some places, especially the carpet on the stairs which was very dirty. As there was no breakfast, we could not comment on it. It’s such a shame because the setting is quite pleasant and it could be a lovely place to visit. "

"I arrived late at night, reception guided me from the car park to the venue over the phone, which was helpful. My room was much better than expected, spacious, clean, the bed really comfortable. Breakfast was good quality & plentiful, dinner was pleasant too, & both good value. The staff were always polite & helpful. Situated well for the town centre & rail travel. "Perfect location for our overnight stay after visiting Cadbury World - just a 3 minute drive with free parking. We had a triple room with 3 single beds with plenty of room for us all. Room was clean although a couple of the towels had stains on them. Restaurant unfortunately wasn’t serving their regular dinner menu only a limited bbq so we went elsewhere for dinner.
