"We had a fabulous 3 night stay in the Knight's Lodge rooms. I was visiting England with my 8 year old son from America and we needed a child friendly hotel centrally located. I loved how the rooms are located via a board walk in a wooded area. There is a playground, evening entertainment and a couple of restaurants. It's about 15 minute walk to the castle. "Overall lovely hotel. We were unlucky with a room with a musky fishy smell which detracted from all the other lovely room features. I did notice some cobwebs in the room and a few patches of touch up white paint which didnt quite match which normally I would overlook. "The Breakfast team are exceptional....food out of this world, one of the best breakfasts you will ever have at a hotel. We are elderly and Olivia was so kind to us during our stay. The pool was wonderful on a hot day. Plenty of beds in the morning and a great escape to the air conditioning in the afternoon. Nicest bunch of people made this a great stay.
