"My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights, we included breakfast with our stay and it was well worth it. The breakfast buffet was displayed beautifully every morning with little omelettes, an assortment of breads, pastries, deli meats and cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, yogurt and cereals. They had many freshly squeezed juices, flavored water, drip coffee or served espresso directly from their bar. The service of the staff was excellent, they were friendly and helpful. "Loved the location, clean, but very very difficult to get anyone from guest services and house keeping. Concierge and the staff in the lobby helping with luggage are very good and helpful.
The tub is deep and very difficult to step out of. Direction in how to use the shower should be included. We were in London in June 3926 during the heat wave, air conditioner temp set by hotel and guests are unable to change. They tell you they will bring you a fan or heater if you need it. No lotion...

"Staff were very helpful especially on the front desk. Room was clean. The health club is separate to the hotel but access is granted by swapping your room key for a gym fob. Riverside views from the room. The chrome cast in our room didn’t work, the staff offered to switch our rooms, but we’d just asked for the twin beds to be made into 2 singles, so remained for the convenience. "Central and walkable. Close to metro stations. Property is on a weird corner and street walking just outside can be tricky at first. Very close to Waterloo and Westminster tube stations so you can get anywhere pretty quickly. Hotel breakfast was great (we used it several times and would include it next time). Room was a little bit tight but that’s to be expected in Europe. Room was clean and service was good."

"I truly enjoyed my stay here. The hotel had easy access to transport around the city, access to shops for water and any other snacks needed across the street, and the rooms were lovely. The staff were extremely helpful and it had amazing AC during a dire heat wave. The only complaint would be that the hot water went cold then hot often...other than that I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again."

"We had a delightful one night stay at the Rubens, centrally located right across from Buckingham Palace’s Royal Mews or stables. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the breakfast was served in a gorgeous room with booths and chandeliers. We were traveling with our teen son so the suite with a pull out couch made it a high value fit for us so we could stay in one room. The room decoration was festive and royal feeling. The sweet baked goods were a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here...
