Family Vacation
We had 4 generations stay and it accommodated us well! We used ALL the amenities for family meals, games, bike rides, park time, SHARC = awesome! Patio furniture is nicer than shown. Overall lovely!
The kitchen is WELL stocked to the point there is no free cupboard space. Not the end of the world but a little annoying to keep all our food on the counter or in grocery bags. We used the ironing board as an overflow spot for dried goods/snacks and put fruit in bowls on the dining table to free up counter space.
Guests should note there is no A/C and it gets hot in the high desert. We put box fans in the bedroom windows once the outdoor temp dropped in the evening. The house was sitting around 76° during the afternoon/early evening and down to low 60s in the night with fans.
A few issues, which we were just mindful of rather than asking for in the moment repairs as that is disruptive to the trip. Dishwasher door will quickly fall open if not latched all the way (it’s heavy so a bit of a hazard). The dryer vent does not work properly so hot air fills the space when running. The deck has a ton of screws that are not flush so it’s important to wear shoes or tread lightly (seem to be stripped so not a quick fix). The new king mattresses are incredibly warped - my parents and grandparents had to fight gravity which consistently pulled them into a massive divot in the center. The “queen” mattress was very comfortable though it’s a full size. Several hot tub jets don’t work.
