"Clean, Comfortable, and Friendly
Friendly staff, a clean room, and very comfortable beds. There is also plenty of parking available right outside, which was very convenient. We especially liked that you could always go to the reception area to pick up extra tea bags, coffee, sugar, etc. to use with the kettle in the room.
During our three-day stay, the room was cleaned on request, and towels were changed upon request as well. When I asked for fresh towels, they arrived promptly—and as a lovely...

"The property was easily accessible from the road and there's loads of parking available. Pretty handy when you can park your car right infront of your room. The staff were very helpful and provided useful information. The room , bed and amenities were clean and modern. Love how they've stocked up the fridge with breakfast. The room was failing and in desperate need of renovation or even a lick of fresh paint. I dared not touch the kettle as it was covered with limescale. The carpet needs replacing, windows needs fixing. Door is so loud when closed. Overall feel, it is...

"Very friendly and welcoming staff. This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. "
