Within an hour of checking in, we were moved through three rooms: one had a broken TV, another had candy wrappers in the couch and Cheerios on the floor, and the third still had food on the floor and sticky stains. We stayed in Room #3 hoping things would improve.

"This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others."

"Location needs work and updating. The amount of people outside talking and making noise all night is crazy. This is not the place to grab a room for the night and expect to have a peaceful evening sleeping. Noise, Cars, Yelling never stops. The condition of the room leads me to believe the stays here are more for temporary housing and less of a hotel chain. Expedia needs to review this location on the site and correctly identify it to the parties using the website to make reservations."
