"The housekeeping staff were very lind and helpful. They went out of their way to help me find the ice machine and opened my room when they saw my hands were full as i returned to my room in lare afternoon one day."

"This is a charming, older hotel in the Lower Nob Hill neighborhood (at least that’s what Google maps calls it). Spotlessly clean and very comfy. Small kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, sink and utensils. Plus a nice neighborhood market next door. And the almost new windows open for fresh air, although it’s San Francisco, so probably a little chilly most days. Great for those on a budget. Front desk folks are very helpful. Loved it…and the two elevators are a step back in time!"
