This was our 3rd stay at this beautiful oceanfront home. The location and beauty of this home is just outstanding and the amenities, especially the professionally equipped kitchen, was perfect for preparing our family Thanksgiving feast. As an added bonus, the home’s elevator was really appreciated by a senior guest as well as our nearly 13 year old Lab.

Amazing oceanfront property!!

This property is amazing! Incredible oceanfront location and tremendous design and amenities for a family vacation. Bruce personally welcomed us the morning after our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed since we arrived, and the check-in was effortless when we arrived later in the evening. The Sonos system was playing! The kitchen is better than the photos! The deck, yard and rocky beach were perfect.

Great location! House plan is perfect for a family of 6 to 8. Private space for all when needed. Beautiful backyard, lots of room for kids to play and an interesting rocky beach to explore. Kitchen has everything you need, refrigerators are large and well designed. We never turned on any of the TVs, but iPad in kitchen was set to use for music and that was great. The older kids could walk to downtown York and we felt they were safe to do that. Beach is very walkable. Hope to book again for next year!

This house was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just a vacation rental, it was an experience. The kitchen was incredibly well set up, stocked with everything you could need, from high-end appliances to thoughtful extras that made cooking a joy, whether you were whipping up breakfast or hosting a sunset dinner.But the real showstopper? The ocean views. Every window seemed to frame a postcard-perfect seascape with waves crashing in the distance and the horizon stretching on forever. You could watch the sunrise with coffee in hand or unwind in the evening with a glass of wine—all without leaving the house and just when you think it couldn’t get better, you head out to the fire pit. Nestled right by the ocean, it was the perfect spot to end each day with the stars and the soothing sound of waves in the background was pure magic.This place wasn't just a stay, it was a memory in the making. Property manager was excellent and communicated very well!! Highly recommend this place!!!

Gorgeous place, stunning setting

Our family met for a relaxing time together over indigenous peoples day weekend. The fall colors were in full effect and everything in the house from the landscaping to the decorating was lovely. We enjoyed plenty of time on the back deck by the fire table as well as lounging by the fire place. There was one small issue the first night with a thumping sound from the water sprinklers but it was taken care of and never a problem again. Rick was responsive to all our requests for restaurant suggestions etc ahead of our trip and Bruce was available for any help we needed during our stay (including sending us a pair of jeans my sister in law left by mistake). This place is highly recommended!

There was no mattress pad on upstairs bed in guest bedroom. The floors need a good washing. Furniture needs to be cleaned.

Perfect family escape.

Hands down the best rental experience ever. The house left nothing to want for. The best outfitted kitchen I've ever come across including my own! The photos on the listing barely due the home justice. Amazingly clean, extra towels, linens, bikes. The sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks all night long! Best sleep of my life. Less then a 10 minute walk to town and short sands beach. We can't wait to return.

Wow. Just wow.

House is gorgeous, well-located, and spotlessly clean. The property manager, Bruce, is amazing about communicating promptly, helpfully, and so kindly. We were there in March- so still pretty cold- but you could spend all day just looking at the windows at the amazing ocean views. Six beautifully appointed bedrooms and the kitchen had everything you could possibly think of. Just not enough superlatives for this home- truly the best of the best.

Awesome Family Reunion House

Thank you, Rick. Your rental was perfect for our family gathering. The elevator was particularly helpful for the older folks. It was spacious yet intimate and inviting. The fire table was a big draw and perfect for indoor, outdoor entertaining.

Beautiful home, expertly decorated and managed

We had a lovely and relaxing week spending most of our time on the comfortable outdoor deck. The elevator was a huge bonus in moving our bags upstairs and the kitchen was a dream with the open concept on the first floor. This was our second experience renting a different house of Rick’s and both were simply impeccable. We already booked our time for next year. Cheers!

Our stay was perfect. The home is so beautifully appointed, especially the kitchen with every appliance and doodad available. Plenty of space of multiple families or generations. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST !

A dream property! Superb location, amazing kitchen, fantastic deck, space galore, stunning decor, comfy beds, stunning kitchen, the equivalent of winning the Maine coast “find a house”lottery. And the triple bonus of an owner Rick, who is so helpful with recommendations and answering questions, Bruce, the terrific property manager and the incredible Chef Nicole, mentioned in many other reviews. Rick recommended Nicole to us - not only is she lovely and ready to address all dietary styles, but oh , her food is fabulous! Our family group had the best week in the best house! I could go on and on -

Beautiful House

When we walked in the property manager had beautiful music playing and the patio doors to the ocean open. The home is absolutely stunning. Very clean and had everything you can think of in it. We prepared all our meals there and the kitchen is fully stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the house was big enough for you to escape and have some quiet time. We sat on the outside patio for hours every day and turned the fire on at night and made it so peaceful and comfortable to sit outside. They have Kan Jam for people to play and we did that several times. Also you are a quick beautiful walk to town and the beach. It’s the perfect location! Would definitely recommend this home to everyone, it was a special treat for us to stay here! The house Manager is awesome and very attentive! Thanks for a wonderful time!

Beautiful modern respite in York

The home was perfectly situated for our extended family gathering. A couple with small kids took the ground floor, less mobile couple took the bedroom off the main area and everyone else comfortable upstairs. It was immaculate, fresh towels and sheets and spotless high quality dishes glasses and server ware. Awesome fire pit and great outdoor furniture. Enough space for lively gatherings or a time out breather. Short walk to cute town for breakfast or a cocktail. Love love love. Can’t wait to come back.

Spectacular Views

This home was just perfect for a family celebration! It is immaculate and loaded with amenities! It has absolutely everything you need. The views from every room are amazing! The property manager Bruce is attentive to your every need as well. This is truly a magical location in every detail!

WOW!!! Stunning house and view!!!

This house and view exceeded all of our expectations and we can't wait to return. We couldn't be happier. This pristine home had amazing finishes and amenities. Each bedroom is ensuite with its own full bath which was perfect for our family! The surround sound music was enjoyed in every room. The ocean views from the large deck with comfortable seating around the gas fire table are amazing and the house is located a short walk to Short Sands Beach. The owner is extremely responsive, helpful, informative and very nice, as is the property manager, Bruce. We also used the services of Chef Nicole, who cooked us an amazingly delicious custom meal. It was truly the best meal we had during our stay in Maine. We can't wait to return to this spectacular home to enjoy all it has to offer and to have more meals cooked by Chef Nicole! Thank you all for making this weekend so memorable.

End of winter respite

This is an amazing house, kept in meticulous condition and managed with great care. We ranged from 4 to 9 people and everyone was very comfortable with ample privacy and space. The gas fireplace , porch with beautiful views and spectacular kitchen were some of the highlights of the house during our 2 week stay. We recommend hiring Nicole, the private chef, who makes wonderful meals. We had a chance to tour the house next door, which is has the same owner and is managed to the same high standards.

Incredible Oceanside Experience!

This vacation will be one our family remembers for a very long time. The property is impeccable and the house is an absolute dream house. The pictures and descriptions of the home were perfect. The kitchen is amazing and very well equipped with anything you could possibly need. The personal chef was AWESOME!!! The food was delicious and the service even better. The owner and property manager were so nice and easy to work with. I give this property and management 5 stars!!

Perfect rental home

This home was amazing. After going inside initially, I began thinking about when I could rent it again. I have no criticisms of it. 1. Cleanliness: you feel like you are the first people renting it 2. Kitchen: you can cook anything there. The variety of pantry and kitchen equipment is large and of great quality 3. The decor/finishings: all high quality and of great taste In a time when staying home is safest, this home makes it a comfortable and luxurious experience. My family had a truly relaxing time.
