"We loved our 3 night stay at Red Box Retreat. The master suite is comfortable, with lovely views. The bed is comfy and the linen was very nice. The kitchen is easy to cook in and well stocked with pots and pans, plates and everything you need to cook up a storm. The property is private and a little oasis. We have stayed in Yack many times, but this is our first time at Red Box Retreat - and we hope to come back! Highly recommended. "

"Our large family group of 9 found the property to be perfect for our needs. The cold weather wasn't a problem as the house had good heating with the fire lit for us on arrival and heaters in all bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites and bathroom more than adequate. We spent the days exploring the area, and the nights back at the house cooking our evening meal and enjoying our time together. "The rooms were spacious and clean and the staffs were friendly. We booked two rooms for our large family. However, they only provided us with one bath towel per bathroom, and we had to share two towels between seven people. "

"We visited Beechworth to celebrate mum’s 91st birthday. I was nervous of finding suitable accommodation for her, but this house far exceeded my expectations. Chris was wonderful to deal with and eased my concerns. The house was very comfortable, warm and cosy, and very clean. Walk in showers (2), fabulous comfy beds, great fully equipped kitchen, lots of sunshine during the day and close to the lake (a great walk). We hope to be back to celebrate 92 !!"
