  • Tucked in a wooded area just a short walk to the rivers' edge, this comfortable and welcoming cabin is a wonderful place for a small family or a couple who just want to get away! Nature lovers will delight in this 1 bedroom, 2 bath cabin which is poised on a grassy meadow dotted with alders. Constructed with wood panels and large wood beams, you will enjoy the rustic but warm ambiance, and the extraordinary touches of special decor in this lovely cabin.

    The living/dining/kitchen is small and cozy, yet feels spacious because of the cathedral ceiling and skylights. The large dining table is perfect to enjoy a great meal, play a game of cards, or set up your computer to do some work or internet surfing. On a summer day, open the french doors and spend time out on the deck, a perfect spot to watch for wildlife, even a bald eagle! In the winter, curl up next to the wood-burning fireplace with a good book and enjoy the peace and solitude this location provides. At the top of the curved staircase is a spacious loft bedroom with a queen bed and an ensuite bath for added privacy. Additional sleeping space is provided with a built-in wall bunk and sleeper sofa in the great room. This home is equipped with a smart TV in the living room where you can access apps such as netflix and hulu- bring your passwords!

    The River Walk Cabin is part of the Quiet Water community and guests of this home have access to the Quiet Water pool (open seasonally), hot tub, and tennis court. Just a short walk from the cabin is a canoe launch area to enjoy the quiet, smooth waters of the Yachats River. Ready to explore? Check out boutiques, galleries, and restaurants in the village of Yachats which is an easy walk from the cabin, or choose to enjoy the sandy beach at the bay where the river meets the ocean.

    ​​​​​​​Sleeps up to 4 - 1 Bedroom, 1 Queen, 1 wall bunk, 1 Sofa Sleeper, 1 full bath.
    Vehicles: Licensed for 2. No trailers or RV's per city ordinance (Strictly enforced- No street parking allowed)
    Standard: 2-night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

    Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.

‘Hygge’ cabin with lots of windows looking out on beautiful grounds. Two windowsest nooks for curling up with a book. Very quiet, lots of birds. Walk to sands beach and tidepool.

Lovely property, close to Yachats in a quiet neighborhood. The neighbors were very nice and I enjoyed the accommodations. It would have been nice to have had coffee available, but fortunately, I had packed my own.

We loved our stay here! The cabin was cute but spacious and comfortable, well-equipped, reasonably private (given all the lovely windows) and in a fantastic location. We'd stay there again without question. Thank you!

I’m a tired mom, like tired to my bones. I booked this place for a solo retreat and had the best time. It’s my new favorite place. The cabin is curated with beautiful details for comfort and aesthetic. I was at such peace reclined back with the door open to the songs of birds and a tiny waterfall into the still river nearby. A short walk takes you to a private side of the rivers mouth to the ocean. A different short walk to town greets you with yummy food, delicious coffee, and excellent art shops. The area is quiet and tucked away. The wooden walls and ceiling are the perfect and most calming things to stare at mindlessly if you too feel tired to the bones. I slept great, it’s not my bed from home but was great nonetheless. I will be back. I might even bring my whole family.

Yachats River Cabin - You will not want to leave

Such a wonderful time at this gem of a cabin. The location is surrounded by nature next to the river and a short walk to the Ocean and downtown. Inside its warm and cozy, equipped with everything you'll need for the perfect coast getaway. A+

Lovely, quiet getaway

This is a sweet, comfortable cabin on the Yachats River. Ver adequate for a couple, within walking distance to town. Lots of birdlife on the river, even kayaks available if weather cooperates.. Be sure to check out the book on end table to see the featured community this cabin is a part of. Pretty special.

Nice place to stay. Furniture comfortable. The sound system was static - y. Heating was inadequate. It might be nice to let people know they could bring/ buy firewood ahead of arriving. Lovely location by the river.

Cozy, rustic and comfortable small cottage. Good size for wife and me, or maybe small family of 3 or 4. Vrbo’s listing description and pictures are accurate. Kitchen equipped well with cooking utensils, dishes and silverware. Many unique touches, like the wall art, decorations and more give the cottage a warm and welcoming vibe. Quiet location just a short easy quarter mile walk to town and ocean. The loft bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The host was very responsive to our communications, access to the cottage was very simple, check in/out was easy. My wife and I are on the 2nd half of our 70’s, we had a very nice time staying at this cottage. Easy to recommend this cottage for a comfortable stay in Yachats.

This property needs renovation and the company should not be renting it out. Here are the facts:A management company operates the property. Owners, who have some pride of ownership, usually keep their properties in good shape. When I contacted the manager about the rental's defects, he asked me to text him a list and then didn't respond at all.Both bathroom sinks have badly chipped and rusted spots.The caulking in the upstairs bath has decayed and is defective and disgusting.The handle on the bathroom shade is broken.Toilet seats have not been securely fastened to the toilet.One of the mats on the winding staircase has loosened and slips. Someone should resecure it.Only one of the four burners on the outdoor grill will light, even with a long butane lighter.The stovetop and oven are rickety and worn. The knives are dull and two have broken blades. Some of the dishes are cracked and three mugs have indelible stains. The can opener doesn't work so we had to leave our canned items behind.The kitchen sink does not hold water.The kettle provided to heat water for coffee or tea has a broken top.The dining table looks like it was used for kids to do fingerpainting.Guests cannot unpack because every drawer in the bureau is filled.The fan in the loft is inoperable.There is a heavy glass ball suspended from the loft ceiling at head height and I kept hitting my head on it.

Cute and well equipped

We have stayed at Quiet Waters in the past and like the quiet complex, convenient to town and the beach . The cabin is cute , funky and has everything you need. Only thing I would say if a person has mobility issues or bad knees they may want to choose another place.The stairs are pretty twisty and steep to the loft bedroom even though there are hand rails and grab bars to help . The pool was not open , I think it is seasonal.The river access is really just for putting in a canoe , not a place to sit etc. Nice easy walking trails around the area. Appreciated being able to take our dog.

River walk cabin on quiet property

The River walk cabin sits in a very nice piece of property on the Yachats River. It is quiet and well maintained. We walked into Yachats each night for dinner, which is a short distance away. During the day we visited Cape Perpetua and Neptune Beach, both beautiful spots, a short drive down hwy 101. The only negative for our visit was the pool was not made available to us while we were there. If the pool is an important factor for your stay, I would suggest contacting the local rental agency ‘Sweethomes’ and inquire about that ahead of time. Otherwise, the cabin was nice enough for what we expected and was a comfortable stay for our time at Yachats.

Location was great!

House was more spacious than expected. Had everything needed for our stay. Nice walking path along the river. Didn’t take advantage of the kayak provided to go down the beautiful calm river.

Wonderful river cabin

We absolutely love this cabin. This is our second time here and hope to return. The kitchen is super well stocked for people who love to cook. Just couldn’t find any scissors. It is cozy, comfortable and spacious. Love the quiet community and the proximity to the river and ocean. Just perfect.
