Cute Cabin in Yachats! Short walk to rivers' edge!

Tucked in a wooded area just a short walk to the rivers' edge, this comfortable and welcoming cabin is a wonderful place for a small family or a couple who just want to get away! Nature lovers will delight in this 1 bedroom, 2 bath cabin which is poised on a grassy meadow dotted with alders. Constructed with wood panels and large wood beams, you will enjoy the rustic but warm ambiance, and the extraordinary touches of special decor in this lovely cabin.

The living/dining/kitchen is small and cozy, yet feels spacious because of the cathedral ceiling and skylights. The large dining table is perfect to enjoy a great meal, play a game of cards, or set up your computer to do some work or internet surfing. On a summer day, open the french doors and spend time out on the deck, a perfect spot to watch for wildlife, even a bald eagle! In the winter, curl up next to the wood-burning fireplace with a good book and enjoy the peace and solitude this location provides. At the top of the curved staircase is a spacious loft bedroom with a queen bed and an ensuite bath for added privacy. Additional sleeping space is provided with a built-in wall bunk and sleeper sofa in the great room. This home is equipped with a smart TV in the living room where you can access apps such as netflix and hulu- bring your passwords!

The River Walk Cabin is part of the Quiet Water community and guests of this home have access to the Quiet Water pool (open seasonally), hot tub, and tennis court. Just a short walk from the cabin is a canoe launch area to enjoy the quiet, smooth waters of the Yachats River. Ready to explore? Check out boutiques, galleries, and restaurants in the village of Yachats which is an easy walk from the cabin, or choose to enjoy the sandy beach at the bay where the river meets the ocean.

Cozy, rustic and comfortable small cottage. Good size for wife and me, or maybe small family of 3 or 4. Vrbo’s listing description and pictures are accurate. Kitchen equipped well with cooking utensils, dishes and silverware. Many unique touches, like the wall art, decorations and more give the cottage a warm and welcoming vibe. Quiet location just a short easy quarter mile walk to town and ocean. The loft bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The host was very responsive to our communications, access to the cottage was very simple, check in/out was easy. My wife and I are on the 2nd half of our 70’s, we had a very nice time staying at this cottage. Easy to recommend this cottage for a comfortable stay in Yachats.

Nice place to stay. Furniture comfortable. The sound system was static - y. Heating was inadequate. It might be nice to let people know they could bring/ buy firewood ahead of arriving. Lovely location by the river.

Such a wonderful time at this gem of a cabin. The location is surrounded by nature next to the river and a short walk to the Ocean and downtown. Inside its warm and cozy, equipped with everything you'll need for the perfect coast getaway. A+

Lovely, quiet getaway

This is a sweet, comfortable cabin on the Yachats River. Ver adequate for a couple, within walking distance to town. Lots of birdlife on the river, even kayaks available if weather cooperates.. Be sure to check out the book on end table to see the featured community this cabin is a part of. Pretty special.

Cute and well equipped

We have stayed at Quiet Waters in the past and like the quiet complex, convenient to town and the beach . The cabin is cute , funky and has everything you need. Only thing I would say if a person has mobility issues or bad knees they may want to choose another place.The stairs are pretty twisty and steep to the loft bedroom even though there are hand rails and grab bars to help . The pool was not open , I think it is seasonal.The river access is really just for putting in a canoe , not a place to sit etc. Nice easy walking trails around the area. Appreciated being able to take our dog.

River walk cabin on quiet property

The River walk cabin sits in a very nice piece of property on the Yachats River. It is quiet and well maintained. We walked into Yachats each night for dinner, which is a short distance away. During the day we visited Cape Perpetua and Neptune Beach, both beautiful spots, a short drive down hwy 101. The only negative for our visit was the pool was not made available to us while we were there. If the pool is an important factor for your stay, I would suggest contacting the local rental agency ‘Sweethomes’ and inquire about that ahead of time. Otherwise, the cabin was nice enough for what we expected and was a comfortable stay for our time at Yachats.

Wonderful river cabin

We absolutely love this cabin. This is our second time here and hope to return. The kitchen is super well stocked for people who love to cook. Just couldn’t find any scissors. It is cozy, comfortable and spacious. Love the quiet community and the proximity to the river and ocean. Just perfect.

Cute Coastal Oasis

We loved our stay at this adorable house! Loved the location tucked back in a little canyon. So quiet and peaceful! The only thing that we found wrong was some of the dishes were out away dirty so they needed washing before we could use them put other then that we love it and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic and easy

Perfection! We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Quiet retreat and such a cozy cabin. Will stay again and next time at least a week! Easy check in/out, very helpful staff.

Clean, cozy comfortable and convenient

Well-equipped, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Seems like the owners thought of everything, even beach toys, wildlife spotting guides, two kinds of coffee makers and things I forgot (waxed paper and a carrot peeler!). Thank you! Location is very convenient to the "downtown" of Yachats and the property has a little walking trail along the creek, which is great for canoeing and bird watching. Eagles, a heron, pelicans, so much to see. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful quiet retreat

This cabin was perfect for a long weekend quiet retreat. It is close to the beach, close to Yachats, and fully stocked with whatever you need - even a Bluetooth speaker. The check-in was confusing as I was told to use the code on the door keypad, but it didn’t work when I got there, and had no cell reception. Turns out the keypad wasn’t programmed yet and I had to use a hidden lockbox on the side of the house. It all worked out in the end and we really enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable and quiet. Loved every minute.

Sweet little escape

We really enjoyed staying in the cabin, it had everything we needed for the sunny and rainy days. Loved the daybeds downstairs for sleeping and napping. Cozy, quiet and perfect for our little family.
