"The hotel is in a transition phase - they're in the midst of a reboot/refurb so things are still a bit up and down, though they did seem to be trying their best. I stayed in one of the finished rooms and everything was just as you would expect. Unfortunately the hotel was overbooked so my colleague had to stay in one of the incomplete rooms. Clearly a very popular spot and very large (but feels homely by the way it is spread around and compartmentalised (in a nice way) the food is expensive and simply not value for money. Fancy for the sake of fancy and barely adequate in terms of quality. Problem is the hotel is too remote to go anywhere...

"The food was out of this world, presentation, taste and service in the restaurant. Spoke to staff and the Chef after my meal and the passion for the food and the standards was evident. I will 100% recommend and stay again."
