"My husband and I were exploring a number of birding hotspots in the quiet corner and decided to try the treehouse. We woke to the dawn bird chorus (without any ambient road noise). Just dreamy!"

"My stay at this rental was deeply unsettling and unsafe. The apartment itself has a creepy, neglected vibe, and it only got worst. A serious safety issue occured when a teenager in our group fell through a rotted, unstable deck/ a terrifying and completely preventable accident. Even more concerning, the entrance code to our apartment was the same code used for all other units in the building. This made me feel extremely unsafe as anyone from another unit could have accessed ours at any time....

"Organized a weekend getaway with friends here. Absolutely beautiful space—landscaping, decor, and interior were all pristine. We had 16 people in total and had no issues with space; everyone was comfortable. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a central New England meeting spot. "

"Hosted a bachelorette trip at this property and it was fantastic. The kayaks and paddle boards provided plenty to do along with a firepit to sit around at night. The house was cozy with plenty of space to sleep 5. Had a great time! "

"Michael’s property is so much fun! I stayed there with my two grandsons, and they loved all the gadgets and surprises in the steampunk bunkhouse. They also loved spending time with the goats and the sheep, and Michael was so kind about showing them around. This is an ideal stay for whimsical adults and for people with children. The entire property is very pretty, and there are some walks that you didn’t take, but lots of opportunity to enjoy the outdoors as well as the indoors."

"Great little cottage at a lake. Super well appointed with pots, pans, gas grill, etc.... great hosts very attentive! "

"Matt was extremely cooperative and always available for any questions we had. The house was totally stocked with everything one might need in case you forgot something. It is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood and the perfect size for a large family getaway. The fact that it was pet friendly was very important to us."

"My husband, two teen daughters, and myself stayed here for a night on our way to visit UConn. It was very comfortable and cozy… a home away from home. Love the electric fireplaces as they add ambience and relaxation. Would recommend!"

"We had such a wonderful time celebrating our Mom’s 95th birthday! Enough room for all of us. The kitchen and deck allowed for us to be together with a lot of space. And the lake with all the boats! A great time was had by all : )"

"We enjoyed everything about our stay on the lake in this very clean and beautiful home in a private setting with its spectacular lake views and sandy beach access to the water. On a daily basis, we saw lots of nature friends while having coffee or dinner on the spacious decks, including hummingbirds, pileated woodpeckers, and herons flying across the lake. We also had fun swimming, fishing, and using the available kayaks, pedal boat, and paddle boards. Kyle and Brooke were very responsive and...

"Michael has been very thoughtful with all the details in this magical little bungalow. The animals are an added bonus. We enjoyed our time there. "

"This house has beautiful views of the peaceful lake. The children, ages 4 to 11, spent hours playing in the water. We enjoyed the screened-in porch, the large dining room (great place to make puzzles), the comfy living room and the eat-in kitchen, which all had great views of the lake. There are close by stores, restaurants and a fresh seafood market. We roasted marshmallows in the large fire pit at night and the hot tub was a huge hit. We all enjoyed our stay."

"We rented this property because our was getting married in Sturbridge and we wanted a place for the groomsmen to gather and get ready but also where we could spend the night. The location was awesome! ( can’t wait to see pictures) and the host was friendly and quick to respond. We enjoyed it so much that we are already talking about returning for a relaxing visit!!"
