"We loved our stay at the 1840 log cabin! The home itself was beautifully decorated, spotless, and just steps from the main strip—everything was within walking distance. Danny was a fantastic host, super friendly and responsive, and even let us check in early. Highly recommend!"

"Very charming peaceful and quiet. Host was amazing. The only thing I would say negative was that the house could use a good cleaning under beds, couch etc rest of the house was very clean and cozy. Lots of wildlife and beautiful yard. "

"We had a great time relaxing at the historic property. Daisy, our yellow lab, loved to run around in the fenced in yard and the evenings were quiet and peaceful!"

"to be clear i had an amazing time and really loved it. it’s a cute place and the access to nature was EXCEPTIONAL. but it definitely could be cleaner. i found big spider webs behind the bed, dust on kitchen objects (kettle, seasonings, bowls), and dusty side tables too. it’s understandable that one can’t find every single hair but there were visible long hairs stuck to the bathroom floor and i kept finding hairs on me as well (definitely not mine). the worst part was that the towels and spare...

"We didn’t stay. We when arrived, instead of a room in the guest house, we were expected to stay in a tentlike structure. In addition, the bathroom facilities were outdoor showers and commodes that required a climb up a set of stairs. Luckily we were able to secure a room at another facility. The owner supposedly requested a refund for me but I haven’t heard whether this has been approved."

"Property was very clean and well maintained. The property hosts were very friendly and welcoming! Our kids enjoyed the stay and visiting the horses, peacocks, and chickens. It is a great area in Maryland to stay. "

"What an awesome house in a great location. Just a short walk to all of Frederick's shopping, breweries and restaurants, yet far enough away to be quiet at night. We stayed in the front bedroom upstairs and the bed was very comfortable. The house is fun to just hang out in too. We enjoyed checking out Laurie's books, vinyls and art while we were there."

"This was a perfect spot for those of our family from out of town to rent for a nearby Family Reunion.We all love to walk, so thoroughly enjoyed being able to nearby restaurants and shopping. Especially enjoyed the Farmers Market on Sunday morning."
