Staff were very friendly and helpful.Good central location with plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The rooms have been refurbished and modernised and the hallway was still in the process of being painted. Would highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully get the chance to visit again. "

"What a lovely comfortable stay. Nice beds , pillows and duvet and in a beautiful house. Tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival. Could have had breakfast but didn't. There's a pub down the road. Will definitely stay again and go for walks around the area"

"This was our third time staying at Mackworth House Farm and, as ever, Peter was the perfect host. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Check-in process was quick, and Peter was on hand to answer any questions we had. The breakfast options were plentiful, and there was a lovely pub a short distance away for evening meals/drinks. Can highly recommend for those wanting to stay in and around the Peak District."
